IndyCar - Houston: The first qualifying group has just completed its session. We're waiting for the last couple of cars to finish up, but one person who won't be on pole is Josef Newgarden, who has been docked his two fastest laps for blocking Juan Pablo Montoya.
United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: The only 'Rover vitesse' you'll see at Watkins Glen today: American racing doesn't quite have the same restrictive attitude towards animals at tracks as they do in Europe.

IndyCar - Houston: Those two guys don't know how lucky they were - as they were running, one of them dropped something on the track. He briefly looked like he was going to stop to retrieve it but changed his mind just as a car came into the picture.

DTM - Norisring: There's been a couple of penalties dished out post-race in Nuremberg. Adrien Tambay is now classified ninth after receiving a 30-second post-race penalty for hitting Pascal Wehrlein, while Martin Tomczyk will carry a three-spot grid penalty over to Moscow for his assault on Gary Paffett.

NASCAR - Kentucky: About the only thing missing from this busy weekend on Race Centre Live is a spot of NASCAR Sprint Cup action.
That took place late last night and Brad Keselowski made history by becoming Kentucky Speedway's first repeat winner after dominating the race.
The 2012 race winner started on pole and led for 199 of the 267 laps to record his second victory of the season and 12th of his career.

BTCC - Croft: Turkington wins again in his WSR BMW, with Shedden and an impressive Neal bringing the works Honda Civic Tourers through to second and third.

BTCC - Croft: Menu dives down the inside of Plato into Clervaux. He almost makes it by but gets clipped by the MG and the VW ends up in the barriers.

United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: Cars are rolling to the grid now. Just before he helmeted-up, Ryan Dalziel told AUTOSPORT that the key to beating the DPs in his LMP2 HPD is likely to be whether they double-stint the tyres and their rivals don't. "We're 9mph down on them on the straights," he claimed, with all his advantage coming in the Glen's high- and medium-speed corners.
In other last-minute news from the pitlane, Oliver Gavin told us that progress has been made in sorting the handling of his Corvette, with the front and rear cradles of the car being replaced. Dirk Muller joined our conversation and reported pretty wholesale changes to his BMW overnight too.

European F3 - Norisring: Start delayed and another green-flag lap. Dennis van de Laar, 19th on the grid, pulled forward from his grid slot with a problem and is stranded on the start-finish straight.

BTCC - Croft: Andrew Jordan has been given a one-second penalty in race one for contact with Matt Neal on lap one, while Fabrizio Giovanardi has been sent to the back of the race-two grid for clashing with Aron Smith.
European F3 - Norisring: Cars on the grid for the final race of the weekend in Germany. A reminder: it's Verstappen on pole as he bids for his second hat-trick in a week, from Blomqvist, Rosenqvist, Ocon, King and Ferrucci.
United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: If you want to spectate from the inside of Watkins Glen's "boot" section you have to brave this spooky tunnel.
There's no lights and it's pretty damp in there, but well worth it when you make the other side.

BTCC - Croft: Despite dominating the first race, Colin Turkington was fighting a clutch issue with his WSR BMW, after a delayed start thanks to a technical problem with the lights.

United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: Warm-up for the Six Hours at the Glen has just concluded with Ryan Dalziel setting the fastest time in the ESM-run HPD he shares with Scott Sharp. The Taylor brothers' Corvette was second, ahead of the Pruett-led Ganassi Riley-Ford.
The pole-sitting Brundle/Yacaman/Tung OAK Morgan was eighth. Fastest GTLM machine was the Jan Magnussen Chevy, which will start behind class pole winner Andy Priaulx (BMW).

Auto GP - Imola: We had an interesting spectator here this morning.
Keeping a close eye on the Italian F4 Championship race was ex-Ferrari F1 boss Stefano Domenicali (sporting a sharp new hair style).
Here he is chatting with Ferrari Academy director Luca Baldisserri. The pair were watching over Ferrari academy star Lance Stroll, who dominated the first race yesterday.
The Canadian prodigy, who is still just 15 years of age, won yesterday's race by a huge 17 seconds and is already being talked about as a 'special one' in the corridors of Maranello.
