IndyCar - Houston: Pagenaud cruises to the win ahead of Aleshin for an SPM 1-2, and Hawksworth completes the podium. That's a hell of an effort from the young Brit, who started from last on the grid.
There was a manic scramble for the mid-top 10 positions in the final few corners, with Kimball crossing the line in fourth ahead of Bourdais, Hunter-Reay, Montoya, Briscoe, Andretti and Kanaan. Power dragged his crippled car across the line in 11th.

IndyCar - Houston: Filippi is in the tyres. He was just over a lap away from a top 10 finish.
IndyCar - Houston: And just as we type that, Power is hobbled by a broken right-rear suspension. He didn't hit anything; it just seemed to collapse by itself. He's going to try to limp home.
IndyCar - Houston: Pagenaud in front is miles ahead of team-mate Aleshin, who in turn has a handy lead over Power. The Penske driver isn't actually looking all that quick, but his 2.5s gap over Hawksworth should be just enough. There are two laps to go.

IndyCar - Houston: If you go back later and watch any highlights from this race, find a clip of the Montoya/Hawksworth battle: swashbuckling aggression from a seasoned warhorse, and a rookie who simply refused to be intimidated. Really good stuff.

IndyCar - Houston: We've just heard from Castroneves, who still sounds pretty angry about the clash with Bourdais that put him out. He's placing the blame at the foot of the Frenchman; we're still not convinced that it was anything more than a racing incident.

A couple of corners later there was contact between Wilson and Andretti, and that one ended with Wilson in the tyres. We've also just seen Andretti cut the chicane to get ahead of Montoya. He's not making any friends this weekend. And it's also worth remembering that he's on probation after his blue flag infraction yesterday.

United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: A big crash in The Boot will call time on this one. Scott Pruett has collided with Renger van der Zande and both piled into the tyrewall.

IndyCar - Houston: Actually, that's not true - Bourdais is still second at the moment. Despite the extensive damage to his front wing, he has decided to stay out on the track. Brave, but it wouldn't be a surprise if IndyCar black-flags him.

IndyCar - Houston: ... and Castroneves is then hit from behind by Bourdais and spins into the fence. Bourdais is returning to the pits with damage to his front wing.
Castroneves had a hand in that one - he popped out from behind Pagenaud, and when he moved back across to take the corner, Bourdais was already there. He's still in the car, but only because he looks too upset to climb out.

United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: Don't forget, Westbrook can't push too much, as his strategy depends on him making it to the finish on this tank of fuel. He only pitted 7m after the OAK Morgan, which can't make the finish and will have to stop again - unless there's a mammoth yellow.
