European F3 - Norisring: Verstappen takes an impressive win, although he led significantly less laps than the safety car driver. Ocon was second, Auer third and Latifi fourth. Felix Rosenqvist, who started from pole, ended up sixth, behind Jake Dennis.
Moto3 - Assen: Rins is beginning to reel in Marquez. The gap between the leading duo is now 0.274s.

Moto3 - Assen: Ajo was running comfortably in the top five before that incident, which also sent Jakub Kornfeil wide as well.
WRC - Poland: Right after all these short-ish fast stages, it's time for a massively long fast stage. Goldap, beginning in 20 minutes, is 35.17km long.
Crash
Moto3 - Assen: Ajo is out of the race! He had a massive high-side at Ramshoek and limps away.
WRC - Poland: Mikkelsen comes through with a time 4s slower than Ogier. He admits that he's "lost the rhythm" after his mistake on the last stage and is worried that this gap is going to be impossible to recover.
Moto3 - Assen: Marquez has a comfortable lead over Rins, but all eyes are on the intense 10 - count 'em - rider battle for third spot, which Olivieira currently holds. For now...
European F3 - Norisring: Unsurprisingly, this has become a timed race. Three minutes to go, Verstappen leads Ocon and Lucas Auer.
Moto3 - Assen: Vazquez obviously had his Weetabix this morning. He started 15th and is up to third already!
BTCC - Croft: We've had a red flag and drizzle in the first practice session so far, but in between championship leader Colin Turkington has managed a 1m24.498s to lead the way.
That's pretty impressive given he will be carrying 45kg of success ballast and his 2013 pole time was 1m24.465s. That underlines the fact that the WSR BMWs will be tough to beat here, notwithstanding their new longer first gear.

Moto3 - Assen: And Hanika makes a brave move up the inside of Masbou at Turn 8 to take third.
WRC - Poland: Splits so far have Ogier a couple of seconds quicker than Mikkelsen and on course to extend his lead.
If you're just joining us, both our leaders had trips off the road on the previous stage, but Mikkelsen's took longer and involved some reversing, so he's now 10s adrift.

Moto3 - Assen: Marquez continues to lead the way and has pulled a gap of 1.125s to Rins. Masbou and Hanika are running wheel-to-wheel in their battle for third.
Green flag
European F3 - Norisring: The safety car is taking what is surely going to be a short break.
Stopwatch
WRC - Poland: Latvala is now our pacesetter on this stage, and Ostberg - quickest last time - comes through four tenths slower.
Moto3 - Assen: Replays show Fenati took a trip across the gravel during the opening lap. He's way down in 28th at the moment.
Moto3 - Assen: With Miller out of the picture the order with 20 laps to go is:
1 Marquez; 2 Rins; 3 Ajo; 4 Hanika; 5 Masbou; 6 Antonelli.
1 Marquez; 2 Rins; 3 Ajo; 4 Hanika; 5 Masbou; 6 Antonelli.
Yellow flag
European F3 - Norisring: The answer was one lap. SC out for a fourth time. Seems to be some debris right on the racing line.
Crash
Moto3 - Assen: And Miller has come off at Turn 1 on the second lap! The Aussie looks distraught as he walks away from the scene of his crash.
Green flag
European F3 - Norisring: Green again. How long will it last this time?
Moto3 - Assen: Antonelli has gained two places and is into the top three. He has Hanika up his exhaust pipe as they come to complete the first lap.
WRC - Poland: Hirvonen is only fourth fastest so far, behind Neuville, Evans and Kubica. He notes that it's "not very good".
Lights out
Moto3 - Assen: And it's a storming start by Miller who leads the way into Haarbocht.
Moto3 - Assen: Miller leads the field away on their warm-up lap. It's dry this morning, much to everyone's delight.
Crash
WRC - Poland: Kubica reports that he ran a bit wide and had a bit of a brush with some logs. It didn't cost him much time and only added a few dents to his already slightly battered Ford.
Yellow flag
European F3 - Norisring: We have a new leader! Max Verstappen charges past Ocon to take the lead. It's lap 15 of 42.
And, just as I type that, the safety car is coming out for a third time. Giovinazzi is in the wars again, launching over the back of a slow-moving Tatiana Calderon. The Italian was caught by surprise, and got some serious air with the front end.

Quote
WRC - Poland: Neuville comes through with the quickest time so far, and that takes him past Kubica for eighth overall.
Interestingly Neuville takes about "battling with Juho and Robert"... 'Juho' Hanninen was three places and 28s up the road when this stage started, so it's fascinating that Neuville's got an eye on ensuring he is top Hyundai as soon as possible.

Moto3 - Assen: Francesco Bagnaia has been declared unfit to participate in today's race. The Italian incurred a left wrist fracture after crashing in this morning's warm-up session. He would have started 19th.

Kouvola
WRX - Kouvola: Open practice underway at the fourth round of the World Rallycross Championship at Kouvola in Finland.
Practice takes place this morning, with heats one and two this afternoon.
Green flag
European F3 - Norisring: It's lap 11 of 42 and the second safety car session is over. Ocon has nabbed the lead with a stunning move on Rosenqvist at the first corner.
Tom Blomqvist, meanwhile, seems to have disappeared. Would seem he took a trip down pitlane while the safety car was on-track, and has dropped from third to 21st.

Crash
WRC - Poland: Before Kubica, Poland's motorsport hero was long-tme WRC regular Krzysztof Holowczyc.
Now mostly seen on the Dakar, Holowczyc was back on WRC duty with a Ford Fiesta WRC this weekend and was running a solid 16th, but he's gone off on the Babki stage.

Moto3 - Assen: Not long to go now until eighth race of the 2014 Moto3 season gets underway at Assen. Jack Miller produced a new pole record time of 1m42.240s in the final minutes of qualifying to take pole for the fourth time this year.
Alex Marquez and Niklas Ajo start alongside the Australian on the front row of the grid.

Yellow flag
European F3 - Norisring: The safety car is back. Antonio Fuoco and Gustavo Menezes have tangled at the first hairpin.
Green flag
European F3 - Norisring: Racing again, with Rosenqvist leading Ocon and Blomqvist.
Lights out
European F3 - Norisring: No sooner were we underway in Nurnberg before the safety car appeared. Some backmarkers got together at the first corner after the road was blocked by Giovanazzi, who spun.
Looks as if Dennis van de Laar is out of the race, while Szymkowiak has been forced to pit for a new nose.

Felix Rosenqvist
European F3 - Norisring: The first F3 race of the weekend is about to get underway. Felix Rosenqvist will start from pole, ahead of Esteban Ocon.

FR3.5 - Moscow: Championship leader Carlos Sainz Jr reacts to his disappointing qualifying result (16th) for race one:
@carlosainz: "No one said it was going to be easy! We will fight from 8th row and try to learn for tomorrow. Lets go!"
