United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: While Brundle and Westbrook duke it out, it's worth noting that Tung actually set the fastest lap of the race during his stint in the OAK Morgan, a 1m38.976s. That would have put him fifth on the grid!

IndyCar - Houston: We just saw a replay - the bit we missed first time around was that Munoz overcooked it at Turn 10 and hit the outside wall, so that's where the suspension damage happened.

IndyCar - Houston: Trouble for Munoz: he was just on the receiving end of a double-pass around the outside by Montoya and Hinchcliffe, bounced over the kerb at the chicane, and is now stopped in an escape road with his right-rear wheel about six inches further from the chassis that it's meant to be.
United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: New leader Brundle was very close to getting involved in Tracy Krohn's accident there, which was completely Krohn's fault as he turned in on a PC car.
Krohn has managed to get going again. Brundle could have done with that full-course yellow, but perhaps his best bet is to sprint away in clear air. He's 22s clear of Westbrook with 42m to go.

United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: Just like after his first double stint earlier, Valiante looks shattered after getting out of the car. Barbosa has now pitted, so the big question is how the OAK Morgan runs and how the yellows play out.

United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: The leader pits, and Valiante climbs out for Westbrook to jump aboard. This is going to be a fight to the finish, but it's going to be tight from fuel from here.
IndyCar - Houston: We have a proper battle for the lead now: Pagenaud is all over the rear of Castroneves (who has been warned for blocking), and Power has caught the pair of them. Fourth-placed Bourdais is 7s back down the road.
United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: The #91 Viper has finally pitted after a long stint, so the #3 Chevy is back in the lead in GTLM. Goossens is about 10s behind Magnussen and a similar margin ahead of third placed Tandy in the first of the Porsches.

IndyCar - Houston: Castroneves pits from the lead - and Aleshin pits with most of his front wing missing. Pagenaud has responded to Castroneves and made his own first stop.
We're also hearing increasingly frantic radio transmissions from Rahal, who has gearbox problems by the sound of things. Not sure whether that was the cause or consequence of the hit from Aleshin.
While all that has been going on, Power has climbed from 18th to third, and is on the same strategy as the leaders. Heck of a drive so far after an awful start to the weekend for the Penske driver.

IndyCar - Houston: Green flag! It's a rolling start today, and polesitter Helio Castroneves leads the pack away.
IndyCar - Houston: Early drama for Sebastian Saavedra, who has already needed pit service and will start from the rear of the grid.

1. The strategy trickery is starting early: Charlie Kimball and Sebastien Bourdais look like they are going to start on the harder-compound Firestones. There's also a mix of new and scrubbed reds out there.
2. It's much hotter, and there's no wind.
3. Perhaps as a consequence of point 2, more drivers have opted for the little nose grill today. Both SPM cars are using it, as is Josef Newgarden.
4. Luca Filippi has the same girlfriend as he did in GP2 in 2009. We're pleased to see that; she always seemed quite nice.

United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: Drama in the PC class as leader Ryan Lewis gets hit by Marco Bonanomi's GTD class Audi at Turn 1, and punted into a spin. He gets a puncture and takes the short-cut, which automatically loses him a lap.
He's now back on track, but Rusty Mitchell is now out front, with Lewis down to sixth.

BTCC - Croft: Colin Turkington further enhanced his record as the most successful BTCC driver at Croft today by adding a couple more victories to his already impressive tally.
Reigning BTCC champion Andrew Jordan won the final frenetic encounter and fired himself back into title contention in the process.

United Sportscar - Watkins Glen: Halfway at the Six Hours of the Glen. Barbosa leads in the Action Express Corvette that he was meant to start, but didn't, which led to a penalty which the team has been fighting back from since.
The sister car of the Frisselle brothers and Jon Fogarty runs second, but they are both running an alternate strategy to their rivals. Westbook is third, ahead of Tung, but they will switch those positions with the Action Express cars through the pit cycles.
In GTLM, Magnussen leads the sister Chevy Corvette of Gavin, with two Vipers and two Porsches up next.
In the PC class, Bruno Junqueira is at the front.
IndyCar - Houston: Castroneves will start the second race of the Houston double-header from pole after managing to pip Pagenaud to the top spot by just 0.0260s.
That race gets going at 8:45pm UK time and we will be bringing you as-it-happens coverage of it.
