European F3 - Norisring: Looks like the rain is falling more heavily now and times have dropped from 48s to 52s. This could be the end of any improvements.
European F3 - Norisring: Now 10 minutes gone, and it's Verstappen, Ocon, Blomqvist, Rosenqvist, with Ferrucci fifth.

WRC - Poland: Ogier is through fastest so far, and chatting like the most relaxed man in the world.

WRC - Poland: Kubica beat Neuville by a tenth and was briefly stage pacesetter, but now his mark has been beaten by Hirvonen.
European F3 - Norisring: There was damage to one of the drivers too, with Antonio Giovinazzi returning from hospital in Nuremberg earlier this afternoon after X-rays to his chest and back. He was charging back into contention after a front-wing change following an earlier incident when he struck the back of Tatiana Calderon's car and took off almost vertically, before crunching back to Planet Earth on his gearbox.
Calderon had just gone into the wall on the exit of Turn 1 after a clash with Santino Ferrucci, and Giovinazzi was unsighted in the mix-up.
The Italian has been given a clean bill of health, but that looked like a box of pain killers in the hands of one of the ladies at the Carlin team.

World RX - Kouvola: Drama in heat two here, rain just as the heat races started gave teams the option of starting on wet tyres, but the weather wasn't bad for long and the track dried throughout the five races that made up the heat.
Anton Marklund topped the order ahead of Timmy Hansen and Andreas Bakkerud. Reinis Nitiss survived a big spin to be fourth quickest, with Krysztof Skorupski fifth and Tanner Foust sixth.
The top six standings overnight almost mirror those of heat two, only Nitiss is second behind Marklund with Bakkerud third and Hansen fourth.

WRC - Poland: This morning's stages are all repeated on the next loop, with the 35km Goldap monster on which all the madness happened running at 7.25pm local time. Then there's another trip back to the Mikolajki superspecial to wrap the day up.
European F3 - Norisring: There's been a bit of damage to repair after this morning's safety-car-fest in the opening race, but hopefully everyone should be out on track.

European F3 - Norisring: With the DTM winding down for the day with its post-qualifying 'presse-konferenz', the F3 boys are getting ready for second qualifying. And guess what: it's started to rain. Just a light drizzle at the moment - not sure how heavy this is going to become.

Auto GP - Imola: Kimiya Sato takes the win at Imola from Kevin Giovesi and Andrea Roda. The Japanese also takes the extra point for fastest lap to extend his lead substantially in the standings after that first lap retirement for the unfortunate Markus Pommer.
Auto GP - Imola: Sato has pitted and now has a cruise to the flag with eight seconds in his pocket. Giovesi also has six seconds over third placed Roda. Tasty battle for 4th though as Michela Cerruti emerges from her stop with Pal Varhaug right on her tail. The Norweigan 'wood' go on to take the place at Piratella however.

BTCC - Croft: Quite amazingly it seems that former BTCC racer James Weaver, who is helping Rob Austin Racing's tech team, is the man who has stepped up to provide glass from his road car to get Austin's Audi A4 repaired.
It means Austin should be able to participate in qualifying later this afternoon.

DTM - Norisring: Robert Wickens takes his second consecutive Norisring pole with a stunning 47.883s best. Paul di Resta will start second, while Jamie Green did a great job to be the best Audi in third.

Auto GP - Imola: Halfway mark at Imola and Sato has pulled out a useful five second gap to Giovesi now. Third is still Roda, while Cerruti is staying in touch in fourth. All still need to make mandatory stop. Both Pal Varhaug and Tamas Pal Kiss lost time at their early stops, the latter significantly so and he now sits 11th.
DTM - Norisring: Di Resta and Wickens are both into the 47s as they scrap over pole in Q3. That is seriously quick!
Auto GP - Imola: Lap five and Sato leads by a second from Giovesi, Roda, Varhaug, Pal Kiss and Cerruti. The erratic Dracone has a substantial grassy moment at Variante Alta but continues.
WRC - Poland: The second loop of stages begins at 2:50pm UK time and rain could be an issue this afternoon as clouds gather other Mikolajki.
Weatherman Kris Meeke is confident rain is on its way. Or perhaps he hopes it is...
MotoGP - Assen: Pedrosa admits he took it a bit too easy in the first half of the race as he wanted to keep his tyres in good shape so he was ready for any further weather changes. By the time his race got going and he could escape from Espargaro, the leaders were long gone.

Auto GP - Imola: Lights out at Imola and Pommer leads the pack in to Tamburello from Sato, Giovesi and Varhaug. But at Acque Minerale Pommer slows and pulls off the track. Disaster for the German.
MotoGP - Assen: This is what that result has done to the championship standings - great gains for Dovizioso and Espargaro (and business as usual for Marquez).

AutoGP - Imola: Formation lap underway here at Imola. Vittorio Ghirelli will start from ninth place on the grid after his team worked wonders to change the Zytek unit after qualifying this morning. Pommer and Sato start from the front row.
MotoGP - Assen: Dovizioso looks delighted with second as he heads onto the podium.
Ducati's long wait for a win is continuing, but a second podium of 2014 and that dogged performance to fend off Marquez for so long is certainly good for Dovizioso's standing as Suzuki and Ducati fight over him for next year.

WRC - Poland: Latvala was very frustrated at the end of that last stage and didn't want to say much. He quickly headed off to the respite of service where DAVID EVANS managed to take a pic of the Finn's poorly Polo.
MotoGP - Assen: Marquez starts his penultimate lap with a 4.8s lead over Dovizioso, who is 5.8s clear of Pedrosa.
