Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: Piquet jumps up to sixth on a full-power run. He's half-a-second off di Grassi.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: Pic, currently seventh, is under investigation for something. Could well be a track-limit infringement but no information as to the reason as yet.
WRC - Portugal: Conditions report from Bertelli: "It is soooo f***ing slippery..."
Among the frontrunners, Ogier pulled clear of Ostberg's pace later in the stage and was 5s up at the final split.
Not much to choose between Ogier, Ostberg, Mikkelsen and Meeke on the earlier splits.

Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: Bird goes 11th fastest for Virgin - hasn't found the same turn of speed as team-mate Alguersuari so far this weekend.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: Chandhok jumps from last to 11th, on place behind Vergne and one ahead of Trulli.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: Alguersuari jumps up to third. He was quick in the first session as well. Di Grassi still fastest.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: But seconds later, di Grassi reclaims top spot by 0.160s on a 1m22.032s.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: And Prost goes top for e.DAMS.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: Speed goes second fastest for Andretti.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: Buemi goes second. Didn't quite live up to his rapid first sector, so di Grassi is still fastest.
WRC - Portugal: Even Mikkelsen isn't quite as quick as Ostberg at split two. But back at split one Meeke - who lost second overall to Mikkelsen on the last stage - is fastest of all by a couple of tenths.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: Now Buemi is on it. This could put him back on top. He's currently slowest.
WRC - Portugal: This has been a weird weekend for Ostberg - he was quickest of all on SS3, a bit out of the blue, and then off the pace and lacking in comfort with the Citroen's handling in most other places. But is he about to throw in another flyer here? He's a second faster than Ogier at split one.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: And di Grassi goes fastest on a 1m22.213s.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: There's a few drivers set for improvements down the order, Di Grassi is on a fast one.

Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: A message on the screen reveals that track limits will not be monitored. Unlike a lot of Formula E venues, because this is an airfield there's lots of space, with some track limits denoted by painted white lines rather than walls.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: The 20-car field is currently covered by just over two seconds. Currently, Buemi is slowest, but he hasn't done a full-power run yet in this session. Heidfeld still fastest from Vergne.
WRC - Portugal: Ogier is past the first split, again a fair way faster than Al-Qassimi and Bertelli ahead.
Having dispensed with Sordo and Tanak on SS8, Ogier's next target is Meeke, who is 9s ahead of him in third.

Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: Trulli and Liuzzi, both driving for Jarno's team, have gone third and fourth.
WRC - Portugal: DAVID EVANS on the next stage, which is just beginning...
SS9/12 Marao (16.44 miles): A short liaison section down road 101 takes the crews to the second stage of the day.
Here are Kris Meeke's co-driver Paul Nagle's thoughts: "This is very fast and flowing, really nice for the first part, but then the next section of the stage is really nadgery.
"The road narrows right down and the speed will get a lot, lot slower in this section. The place is full of big rocks on both sides of the stage.
"In places like this Kris almost doesn't need the pacenotes, you're just cruising through the corners – some of them in first gear.
"There's nothing you can do here to make it quicker, it's just not possible.
"It opens out again after that and gets a bit more flowing before some hairpins take us down to the finish."

Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: Heidfeld goes fastest on a 1m22.820s.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: And Vergne looks like he has done a full-power qualifying simulation. He's set a 1m23.239s, less than a tenth off Buemi's first-session time.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: Each driver only has two laps of full power (200kW) to use across the two practice sessions. Buemi certainly did a qualifying-power lap in the first session, but most didn't. So this session will give us a better picture of the competitive order going into qualifying.

WRC - Portugal Just to firm up on some Saturday morning tyre details in Portugal. Mikkelsen's fastest time in SS8 would no doubt have been helped by running four softs.
The Norwegian is now the only driver with soft rubber for the whole loop (he's got two soft spares as well), Evans and Neuville had the same option, but won't be using their tyres now...
Latvala and Paddon have four softs and two hards, presumably they will fit - and cross - the hard Michelins in the long stage. Ogier, Meeke, Ostberg and Sordo are all crossing hards and softs for the whole loop with one soft spare each.

Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: And the second free practice session is underway.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: Tyres were a concern during the first free practice session, as Sebastien Buemi explained: “It’s going to be difficult, clearly in the other races we never had a problem with the tyres. But here, for the first time, I think we might see some big degradation on the tyres.”
WRC - Portugal: Paddon is another man who's overshot a junction and found the stage very frustrating.
But despite that, he's fifth quickest and he's closed to within 0.2s of taking seventh overall from Ostberg.

Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: The Berlin Tempelhof Airport is an imposing backdrop for this new track. The airport closed down in 2009 but the pre-war terminal building is still recognisably an airport. The old check-in area is being used for the autograph session between qualifying and the race, with a driver stationed at each desk!

WRC - Portugal: Tanak completes the stage 10s off the pace set by Mikkelsen and Ogier, which drops him behind the champion to fifth overall.
Formula E - Berlin Tempelhof: The start of the 30-minute second free practice session has been put back by five minutes.
WRC - Portugal: Latvala explains that his time loss came from outbraking himself and overshooting a junction.
He reckons that cost him 5s so is pretty calm that if he doesn't make mistakes, he's still got the pace to stay clear of his marauding team-mates.

WRC - Portugal: Rally leader Latvala is in, but he's 6s slower than the flying Mikkelsen, who is now within 9s of him. It's closing up...
Crash
WRC - Portugal: A double blow for Hyundai - not only did Neuville crash, he blocked the stage for team-mate Sordo, who had to gently nudge the sister i20 clear of the road.
That's left him 18s off the pace and will drop him behind Ogier to at least sixth.

Group 3: 3 Pic, di Grassi, Prost, d'Ambrosio, Heidfeld
Group 4: 4 Chandhok, Buemi, Bird, Abt, Duval

WRC - Portugal: That time from Mikkelsen has taken him past Meeke into second overall, as the Citroen comes in 6.4s off the pace.
He's happy enough with his performance, the VW was just faster.
"It's fine, I had a good stage. Very slippery in places. You have to pick your lines to be sure you're in the ruts."
Meeke thinks Mikkelsen's time was "bloody good - they're driving well".

WRC - Portugal: "We'll just try to continue like this," says Mikkelsen, "we've got six soft tyres so we'll try to make this work."
Yesterday morning Mikkelsen scorched through the first stages at a rapid pace but was overhauled by Latvala later on as his team-mate had taken less out of his tyres.

WRC - Portugal: A cautious and not-totally-happy happy Ostberg is just under four seconds slower than Ogier, but Mikkelsen is fastest by six tenths.
Further back, Neuville has gone off.
