DTM - Hockenheim: The first DTM qualifying session of the 2014 season is a quarter of an hour from now, and you can follow every moment on AUTOSPORT Race Centre Live (which could be handy if, for instance, you're in a country that no longer has a YouTube stream of it...).
Marco Wittmann was fastest for BMW in free practice this morning, while Mercedes struggled.
There are a few changes to the regulations this year and some very tantalising driver reshuffles too. Here's our new DTM correspondent ANDREW VAN LEEUWEN's pick of the storylines to watch in 2014:

WEC - Spa: Jani stops and hands over to Lieb. It wasn't a quick stop and Buemi goes into the lead.

MotoGP - Jerez: Seems Lorenzo is right to be confident, for Marquez says the reason he had to produce that good a pole lap was because he feels less sure of his pace this weekend than so far in 2014.
"We're at a good level, but we're struggling more than at other circuits, and that's why pole is so important," Marquez said.
"Jorge and Dani will be very fast tomorrow."
That Dani is of course Dani Pedrosa, winner at Jerez last year and on the outside of the front row tomorrow.
Incidentally Jerez is the only circuit where Marquez has never won in his world championship career so far.

WEC - Spa: The second round of P1 stops has began. The #2 Audi stops and is taken back into its garage. Tellingly, the leading Porsche has yet to stop for a second time.

European F3 - Hockenheim: Tom Blomqvist grabs pole for race two at Hockenheim. It should be a double pole – he was the only driver to lap in the 1m31s bracket twice – but we're still not sure on the race three grid because no official times have been issued.

MotoGP - Jerez: Jorge Lorenzo looked like he might finally beat Marc Marquez to a 2014 MotoGP pole position in a boiling hot qualifying session just over an hour ago, but then the Honda man reached even deeper and blew the field away with another record lap.

"We are very satisfied with the pace we had in FP4," he says. "In the qualifying I did a very good lap on the first try but on the second I felt a bit worse with the rear tyre so I couldn't do my time.

Kimiya Sato
Auto GP - Hungaroring: Kimiya Sato won a thriller in Hungary this morning, coming through from ninth on the grid after Friday's storm-interrupted qualifying session, then having to clung on once in the lead as local hero Tamas Pal Kiss capitalised on the Japanese driver's high tyre wear to close in.

WEC - Spa: Jani's lead is shrinking, though ever so slightly. His advantage over Buemi was up to over 8s, but is now down to just over six. Or rather was - the Toyota hits traffic and the gap goes up.

MotoGP - Jerez: Qualifying for Moto2 is into its final minutes at Jerez.
Mika Kallio holds provisional pole for Marc VDS right now, three tenths ahead of Sandro Cortese.
Then Tom Luthi, Dominique Aegerter, Tito Rabat, Jonas Folger and Maverick Vinales are covered by just 0.034s in third to seventh places.

European F3 - Hockenheim: The qualifying session that will determine the grid for races two and three is underway at Hockenheim.

GP3: Next weekend features the first GP3 rounds of 2014, and one of the latest men to sign up is the driver who won the category's inaugural race four years ago.
Pal Varhaug was a shock victor when GP3 was unleashed onto the world at Barcelona in May 2010.
Since then he's had some tough times in GP2 and finished runner-up in Auto GP, and now he's back to try GP3 again with Jenzer at the age of 24.
The team's announcement today also revealed Matheo Tuscher - who you'll remember as the 15-year-old who took Formula 2 by storm in 2012 - and Adderly Fong as Jenzer GP3 driver for 2014.
WEC - Spa: Lotterer lost fourth to Nakajima in traffic a couple of laps ago and is now losing time at a rate of knots. He's now seven seconds back.
WEC - Spa: Mucke leads GTE Pro after the two Astons don't take on tyres at the first round of stops. This was always going to be their chance, team boss John Gaw was telling AUTOSPORT before the race.

WEC - Spa: Pla is ahead in P2 after getting a better run out of Eau Rouge.
WTCC - Hungaroring: There is a potential problem for Michelisz, who has vacated his Civic WTCC. The Hungarian hero is 12th, having not set a Q2 time.
