MotoGP - Jerez: Marquez says he knew he had to try extra-hard once he hit the front early on today because he was convinced the competition had the pace to beat him at this track. Not so, as it turned out...
"It's a different victory because on this circuit I struggled a bit more during the weekend," says Marquez.
"My level and the level of Dani, Valentino and Jorge was so close.
"But in the race I felt good. In the beginning I was able to open a gap and I continued to push because I felt a little bit better with new tyres and I knew Dani and Valentino would be strong."

WTCC - Hungaroring: Hugo Valente is 1.8s behind the lead pair in third.

MotoGP - Jerez: With two laps left, Rossi has kept his gap over Pedrosa at about half a second, but the runner-up spot isn't safe yet.

MotoGP - Jerez: Marquez is a consistent half-second faster than anyone else and is now 2.9s clear. Is Lorenzo being held up by Rossi?
