Auto GP - Mugello: Second and third qualifiers Kevin Giovesi and Vittorio Ghirelli will have an extra set of fresh, yellow side-walled, soft compound Kumhos for this afternoon's race.
Both drivers preserved a set by using medium compund tyres at the start of qualifying. Fourth-place starter Sergio Campana used two sets of softs in qualifying.

European F3 - Norisring: A few laps in and Lynn leads Rosenqvist, Sims and Marciello. Marciello got pushed back on the first lap.
IndyCar - Toronto: Contact between Sage Karam and Zach Veach on lap 1 of the Lights race. Those guys really are having a tough weekend. Up front, it's Jack Hawksworth in the lead.

IndyCar - Toronto: Power hits the wall but manages to continue, albeit dragging an advertising banner along with him. He manages to drop it, whereupon it immediately wraps itself around Bourdais' car instead. The Frenchman barely had time to get annoyed about it before James Jakes hit the wall at Turn 5.

Auto GP - Mugello: Klien identified the lack of power steering on the Auto GP cars as the biggest challenge to adapt to on his first day of, intensive, running on Friday.
“It was a lot without power steering, by the end of the day I was exhausted,” said Klien. “Today I feel much better. The Jaguar and other F1 cars that I drove all had power steering, I have never really driven a car without power steering, not since F3.
“It was difficult to get used to it again, but I’ve just had a big plate of pasta, so I think I should be fine for the race!”

Auto GP - Mugello: Speaking to AUTOSPORT, Auto GP’s high-profile debutant Christian Klien said he believed a top-six qualifying result had been within reach in this afternoon’s session
“I had traffic from Karthikeyan and one other driver,” said Klien, “and I was three tenths up on that lap. Realistically, we could have been sixth, but the laptimes were pretty close in my area of the timing screens."
Klien will line-up tenth on the grid for his first race in single-seaters since the 2010 Abu Dhabi GP.
