Moto3 - Sachsenring: MotoGP star Cal Crutchlow's opinion on this one:
"Binder Binder Binder Binder Binder Binder !!!! Go Go Go …"

Moto3 - Sachsenring: Marquez takes second back from Binder into the final corner, but Binder drafts back on the pits straight and slips inside at Turn 1 to reclaim second.
That puts Marquez a little wide, and Kent slips through into third.

Moto3 - Sachsenring: Binder and Marquez are side by side through Turns 1 and 2 again for second place.
Masbou and Kent are right behind them. Masbou is something of a veteran: the 27-year-old Frenchman first popped up at 125cc level way back in 2003, but only has one podium to show from 136 appearances in 125cc/Moto3.
Yes, that's one way in which the bike and car feeder series differ... Think of the abuse drivers get for spending four years in GP2...

Moto3 - Sachsenring: Marquez gets alongside Binder for second, looks like he's getting ahead, but the South African brakes later (very late) and scoots back around the outside.
Marquez won't want to get stuck in a time-consuming battle with Binder that lets Miller get away. So far, though, the pack is staying right with Miller even as they fight.

Moto3 - Sachsenring: Binder has just slipped between Miller and Marquez into second.
The South African teenager is still hunting for his first podium, with a bunch of fourth places his career best so far in two-and-a-half years at this level.

Moto3 - Sachsenring: Marquez has been struggling to find a space on this twisty track to attack Miller, and that's let Masbou, Binder and Kent close in to make it a five-bike lead pack again.
Five seconds back, a mere 13 bikes are trying to be fifth. Philipp Oettl leads them, just.

European F3 - Moscow Raceway: Blomqvist is properly hassling Fuoco for second now.
Crash
Moto3 - Sachsenring: This has been an incredibly messy race so far even by Moto3 standards.
Young Italian star Enea Bastianini is among the early fallers, Gabriel Rodrigo - standing in for the injured Niki Ajo - wrapped his legs around Livio Loi's bike as he crashed (he looked unhurt), and Fahmi Khairuddin has just been sliding helplessly down the middle of the track being dodged by his rivals.
But it's the crashes for Fenati and Rins that are really going to shake up the title battle. With consistent dark horse Efren Vazquez only 11th today so far, leaders Miller and Marquez have a chance to make what is currently a five-way fight in the points a two-man affair.
Moto3 is brilliant isn't it?

European F3 - Moscow Raceway: Jake Dennis is sixth, but has Felix Rosenqvist all over him.
Moto3 - Sachsenring: Meanwhile up front, Alex Marquez is all over the back of Miller for the race lead, and they've broken away from chasers Alexis Masbou, Danny Kent and Brad Binder.
European F3 - Moscow Raceway: Verstappen has lost pace and is now in the pitlane. Auer fourth and King fifth.
Moto3 - Sachsenring: Fenati had made it up from 25th on the grid to 11th in the first three laps. The replays haven't yet clearly shown how that crash started, but he was left clutching his leg in the gravel and is requiring medical help to get away from the crash site.
That's extremely bad news for Rossi's team.

Crash
Moto3 - Sachsenring: Fenati crashes out! That's massive for the championship, and he looks like he's hurt as well.
Crash
Moto3 - Sachsenring: We've just had a classic Moto3 amusing gravel scuffle after a collision between midfielders Bryan Schouten and Scott Deroue. No fists, but a bit of a 'bundle!'
Moto3 - Sachsenring: As Miller takes an immediate lead over Marquez, fellow title contender Alex Rins's bizarrely unsuccessful year continues - he crashed at Turn 3 on the opening lap.
Fenati is on the way forward: he's up from 25th to 13th.

Moto3 - Sachsenring: British fans, remember when Danny Kent was a hot prospect as he battled Sandro Cortese for Moto3 wins in his brilliant 2012 season?
It's been a lean time for Kent since then, including an unsuccessful Moto2 dabble and a tough start to his subsequent Moto3 return, but he's fifth on the grid this morning.

European F3 - Moscow Raceway: Utter domination by Ocon, 3.5s in front of Fuoco after six laps.
Moto3 - Sachsenring: First up in Germany is Moto3. Jack Miller - the man they're all fighting over - is on pole ahead of Alexis Masbou and Marc Marquez's little brother Alex, who has won the last two races and brought himself into title contention.
But it's been a terrible weekend so far for Valentino Rossi's VR46 team. His championship-chaser Romano Fenati rarely qualifies well anyway, and he didn't get a lap together in the small amount of the session that ran before the rain came yesterday. Fenati, who is within seven points of Miller in the title race, is way down in 25th.
And Fenati's the only VR46 man in the field - team-mate Francesco Bagnaia withdrew this morning as his wrist injury from Assen is still too painful.
Fenati was second in the warm-up behind Marquez.

European F3 - Moscow Raceway: Quite processional at the moment. No change in top 4, with Auer fifth and King sixth.
MotoGP - Sachsenring: The MotoGP warm-up finished a little earlier, and poleman Marc Marquez was quickest - but only by 0.010s over Jorge Lorenzo, with local hero Stefan Bradl within 0.034s of the pace too.
But the main interest was in the bike-swapping practice that went on. There's rain forecast later so pitstops could be required, and Lorenzo has been trying to master Marquez's ultra-swift leap straight from one bike to another.

European F3 - Moscow Raceway: Big lead at end of lap 1 for Ocon, 1.3s ahead of Fuoco, who's under pressure from Blomqvist. Verstappen fourth.
European F3 - Moscow Raceway: The second row is Tom 'son of Stig' Blomqvist and Max 'son of Jos' Verstappen. The third row is Lucas 'nephew of Gerhard Berger' Auer and Jordan 'my dad has never raced a car in his life' King.
European F3 - Moscow Raceway: Cars are on the grid for the second race of the weekend in Russia. Esteban Ocon has dominated so far, with three poles and one win to stretch his championship lead. He sits at the front of the field before the off, with Prema team-mate Antonio Fuoco bouncing back to form to join him on the front row. In F1 junior terminology, that's Lotus versus Ferrari.
Breaking news

Ryan Hunter-Reay and Josef Newgarden
IndyCar - Iowa: While Europe slept, there was an excellent IndyCar race unfolding at the Iowa Speedway short oval.
Amazingly Ganassi still hasn't won in the series this year, but it was looking on course for a one-two before a late tyre change allowed Ryan Hunter-Reay and Josef Newgarden to storm through the field.
