BTCC - Oulton Park: Matt Neal spins under braking for the Knickerbrook chicane. The Hondas are really having to push here to try and match Plato's MG.
BTCC - Oulton Park: Shedden responds by going second quickest again, but he is still half a second off Plato.
BTCC - Oulton Park: And Shedden has indeed lost his best lap for exceeding the track limits. He falls to fifth, leaving Plato heading an MG one-two.
BTCC - Oulton Park: Gordon Shedden is under investigation for running all four wheels off the track at Old Hall, but he'll be aiming for a quicker time anyway as he is still 0.3s down on provisional polesitter Plato.
NASCAR - Pocono: Jimmie Johnson is fastest early in practice. A yellow has come out for possible oil in track.
Might that have come from Paul Menard's Chevrolet? It is in the pits having suffered a smokey transmission issue.

BTCC - Oulton Park: So after the first runs the order is:
Plato, Shedden, Tordoff, Jordan, Wrathall, Neal.
Plato, Shedden, Tordoff, Jordan, Wrathall, Neal.
BTCC - Oulton Park: And Plato records 1m26.130s, the fastest BTCC time of the day so far.
BTCC - Oulton Park: Sam Tordoff is the first to go under 1m27 to take provisional pole, but MG team-mate Jason Plato is on a quick one...

BTCC - Oulton Park: So, off we go for 30 minutes of BTCC qualifying at a sunny Oulton.
Euro RX - Kouvola: Here are the intermediate Supercar results after the first two heats:
1 Doran; 2 Foust; 3 Solberg; 4 Heikkinen; 5 Timerzyanov; 6 Jeanney.
1 Doran; 2 Foust; 3 Solberg; 4 Heikkinen; 5 Timerzyanov; 6 Jeanney.
NASCAR - Pocono: There's been another slight delay so the ARCA field could have a few laps behind the pace car, but the Sprint Cup weekend is finally beginning as the field lines up for practice.

Kouvola
Euro RX - Kouvola: Stig-Olov Walfridsson's first heat ended in the wall after contact. Here's a shot of his car being retrieved at the scenic track.

You'll need two screens to make the most of AUTOSPORT Live this weekend: our sister Formula 1 service is up and running for final Canadian Grand Prix practice in Montreal.
Quote
BTCC - Oulton Park: Colin Turkington believes his strong pace so far this weekend is more down to the circumstances rather than any great strides with his WSR BMW.
"I think the track just suits us a bit more than places like Donington or Thruxton," he told AUTOSPORT. "I think the high ambient temperatures are helping too."

Jeb Burton
NASCAR - Pocono: This weekend is one of those when the three major NASCAR series are spread across America.
While the Cup drivers are competing at Pocono, the Nationwide field is at Iowa, and the Truck Series has joined IndyCar at Texas.
That meant no Cup racers in the Truck field when its race took place last night.
But the race was won by the son of a Daytona 500 winner, as Ward Burton's 20-year-old son Jeb - nephew of current Cup racer Jeff - claimed his first victory in the series.
Breaking news
BTCC - Oulton Park: Andrew Jordan was quickest in practice two, but Jason Plato's morning time held up as the best before qualifying.

NASCAR - Pocono: NASCAR's Air Titan was in action very early in the morning to try to ensure a dry track for today.
Still some damp patches though, and getting the planned ARCA session in before Cup practice at 10am local time will be a squeeze.

WTCC - Moscow: Incidentally tomorrow's races could be fun if the RAF Touring Car Light is anything to go by. As soon as the safety car dived in we had carnage, with a litany of spins and even a roll when Mezenkev got it wrong through Turn 11 and then skated, wheels up, through Turn 12.
Still to come on Race Centre Live this afternoon: BTCC qualifying from Oulton Park, Superstars qualifying from Slovakia, news from the WTCC paddock in Russia and the latest from European Rallycross at Kouvala.

WTCC Moscow
WTCC - Moscow: We did establish, shortly before getting drenched, that Tom Chilton's qualifying was undone not by an off-track moment but by being, in his words, "too cautious."
"I'm kicking myself," he told AUTOSPORT, "because the pace was there, as you could see in Q1. I deliberately moved to the front because we knew the rain was coming, but that meant I was the first to come across each corner. Knowing that when it rains here, it really rains (see our picture) I just backed it off too much."
WTCC - Moscow: The rain that disrupted qualifying has got worse...a lot worse. Thunder has boomed and the heavens have opened, leading to a soaked (and largely futile) paddock trawl and causing every lap - so far at least - of the RAF Touring Car Light race to be run behind the safety car.
NASCAR - Pocono: On Friday Race Centre Live's coverage of NASCAR Sprint Cup action from Pocono was somewhat limited by the fact it poured and all running was cancelled.
Championship leader Jimmie Johnson was handed pole without the cars having to take to the track.
The field should get two hours of practice today, starting in just over an hour, to get up to speed before Sunday's race.

Slovakiaring chicane
Superstars - Slovakiaring: Gianni Morbidelli has provided AUTOSPORT with an onboard screen shot of the view into the temporary chicane that he - and others - are so unimpressed by.
Yes, it's the enormous pair of red and white stripey lumps seemingly in the middle of the road.
Fast approach too...
Breaking news
Superstars - Slovakiaring: The Solaris Motorsport team is busy throwing a new engine in the team's spare car, the Chevrolet Lumina that Francesco Sini raced last season. Word in the paddock is that the Camaro is too damaged to be fixed, and that should permission be granted, Sini will race the Lumina for the rest of the weekend.
Checkered flag
BTCC - Oulton Park: Andrew Jordan jumps to the head of the final practice order right at the end.
Results: 1 Andrew Jordan; 2 Jason Plato; 3 Gordon Shedden; 4 Colin Turkington; 5 Sam Tordoff; 6 Matt Neal; 7 Dave Newsham; 8 Frank Wrathall; 9 Mat Jackson; 10 Rob Collard.

IndyCar - Texas: Aside from the three touring car series and Le Mans, there is also no shortage of racing in America this weekend.
Will Power is still hunting for his first win of the 2013 IndyCar season, but on single-lap form at least, he looks in very good shape at Texas Motor Speedway, taking pole by a commanding margin.
Marco Andretti and Tony Kanaan were fastest in the morning and evening practice sessions respectively.

BTCC - Oulton Park: Big lock-up for Nick Foster into Lodge, but he hangs on. The WSR BMWs look good after their Brands Hatch test last week.

Superstars - Slovakiaring: Unusual staffing arrangements in the media centre in Slovakia.

Le Mans test day: One of the main events on Sunday's Race Centre Live bill will be the pre-race test day for the Le Mans 24 Hours.
Drivers and teams are already setting up, and ex-F1 man Karun Chandhok - back at Le Mans with Murphy Prototypes - is getting into the vibe:
"Days in Le Mans = 1; Laps on cycle = 5; Pointless argument with power crazy Security = 4 !! Yes, I have a pass & Yes I can ride my bike...."

Yvan Muller 2013 WTCC
WTCC - Moscow: Yvan Muller takes pole position for the series' Russian debut at Moscow Raceway. Full report and times here.
BTCC - Oulton Park: On the support package, 2010 Formula 2 champion Dean Stoneman just ended his Porsche Carrera Cup qualifying session by clipping the barriers and pulling off.
