Moto3 - Misano: Bastianini claims his first Moto3 win on home ground for himself and Gresini, fending off Oliveira to the line.

DTM - Oschersleben: Fun fact, Rockenfeller is almost always the first driver on track at the start of every DTM session. The 2013 champion obviously loves the clear road.
Moto3 - Misano: Oliveira, Bastianini and Antonelli are making a bit of a break over Fenati and Binder, but it wouldn't take much to make it a five-way fight again. Kent doesn't seem to be making enough progress to get involved with only three laps left.

DTM - Oschersleben: During this morning's media session, Mercedes chief Ulrich Fritz reported that Wehrlein's power steering problem was a result of a tear-off visor (German Formula 4 is here this weekend) getting into the system.
It overheated and eventually failed, and Mercedes' data suggests it was the equivalent of Wehrlein having an extra 2kg weight strapped to each wrist during the race.

Moto3 - Misano: Kent is setting fastest sector times as he tries to rejoin the lead group, but the gap remains 3.7s and he's having a few little track limits adventures again as he tries to catch up.

DTM - Oschersleben: Sunday qualifying is about five minutes away and the conditions are fine and sunny, good news for BMW as it looks to capitalise on its performance weight advantage.
When you read about Wickens and Rockenfeller during the session, keep it in mind that they'll drop 13 and three places on the grid, due to penalties for yesterday's first-corner accident.

Moto3 - Misano: We've got our first crasher from the lead pack and it's Kent's Kiefer/Leopard team-mate Vazquez. He's OK, but peeved.

He's been caught abusing track limits and been given a one-position penalty so fell back to eighth behind Francesco Bagnaia, who he quickly repasses again.
Moto3 - Misano: A little bit of calm for the first time, it's brief but it allows new leader Vazquez, Oliveira, Antonelli, Fenati, Bastianini and Binder to get a bit of breathing space.

DTM - Oschersleben: BMW has the upper hand in dry conditions this weekend, thanks to the series' performance weights, and it cashed in on Saturday. After taking his first DTM pole, Timo Glock led a the brand’s sweep of the top four, and BMW finished the race with seven drivers in the top eight.
Pascal Wehrlein prevented a clean sweep, the Mercedes driver pushing on despite a power steering failure to finish fifth and take a four-point championship lead, as erstwhile leader Mattias Ekstrom finished 14th.

WTCC - Motegi: The World Touring Car Championship had its first races at Motegi earlier.
The variety had extended to the qualifying result on Saturday when Norbert Michelisz put his Honda on pole, but a bit of normal service was resumed when Jose Maria Lopez triumphed in the first race at the Japanese venue.

There's a home hero on pole in Gresini rider Enea 'The Beast' Bastianini, ahead of Brad Binder on Ajo's upgraded KTM and then runaway championship leader Danny Kent completing the front row.
This is Valentino Rossi country - he lives nearby and probably 99 per cent of the crowd are here for him - and that elevates the pressure on the riders in his VR46 Moto3 team. But habitual Saturday underperformer Romano Fenati did better than usual yesterday and qualified fifth. He's got a 2016 deal with the team too, as has team-mate Andrea Migno, who starts 21st.
But one leading team is entirely absent - both Monlau riders are out injured.
Jorge Navarro had a horrific accident in opening practice when he fell right in front of Lorenzo Della Porta and was hit at high speed. He incredibly escaped with only shoulder injuries and wanted to ride again yesterday, but didn't get medical clearance.
Also on the sidelines is his team-mate Fabio Quartararo, who fractured his ankle in a practice crash.

DTM - Oschersleben: After yesterday's schedule was delayed by heavy fog, Sunday's skies are significantly clearer. There was a little bit of light rain overnight and this morning, but the forecast is clear for the rest of the day.
