MotoGP - Misano: Staying out isn't going to work - Dovizioso, Smith and Crutchlow's sector times are a lot slower than Lorenzo and Marquez's and they're struggling to stay upright.

MotoGP - Misano: It looks like the leaders will be in for wets now, Marquez and Rossi are right back up with Lorenzo.
Crash
MotoGP - Misano: Redding has crashed! He'd got up to an excellent sixth.
MotoGP - Misano: The midfield is going for wets en masse! The Suzukis, Aprilias and Hernandez are among those in.

MotoGP - Misano: Pedrosa can't keep pace with the three leaders and is being attacked on all sides by Ducatis, Smith and Redding.
MotoGP - Misano: Marquez is a dissenter on tyre strategy - it's hard fronts and medium rears for most of the factory bikes but he's gone softer on the front.
It's working OK so far and he remains all over the back of leader Lorenzo.

British GT - Donington: The British GT finale is under way! Andrew Jarman maintains his lead on the first lap but Andrew Howard falls from second on the grid to fifth.
Lee Mowle runs second for Triple Eight Racing, while championship leader Marco Attard had moved up from fifth on the grid to run third on lap one, but spun down to 13th after contact and a spin at the final corner.

MotoGP - Misano: Iannone takes a big look at Pedrosa for fifth into the first corner as they begin lap two, but the Honda doesn't leave a Ducati-sized gap.

Lights out
MotoGP - Misano: Great start from Lorenzo, he's clearly first into Turn 1 as Rossi tries to pass Marquez but can't quite make it.
MotoGP - Misano: Pirro is going round on his wet-shod spare bike while Ducati works on his main machine in the hope he can hop back onto it and start from the pitlane.
Green flag
MotoGP - Misano: Minus Pirro and on a still-dry track (but with plenty of clouds ahead), the field set off for the warm-up lap.
MotoGP - Misano: Problem for Pirro! His Ducati's being pushed off the grid from fifth place!
He's going to have to start from the pitlane as the rest of the field are ready to go.

British GT - Donington: We're less than 10 minutes away from the start of British GT's finale, a two-hour race around Donington.
Andrew Jarman and Jody Fannin start on pole for the #27 TF Sport Aston Martin, ahead of title contenders Andrew Howard and Jonny Adam in the #007 Beechdean Aston Martin.

FR3.5 - Nurburgring: Result: 1 Ellinas; 2 Malja; 3 De Vries; 4 Fantin; 5 Celis; 6 Orudzhev.
DTM - Oschersleben: Another DTM qualifying fun fact for you all, with the race about 80 minutes away. With Tom Blomqvist's effort to qualify second today, 15 drivers have now qualified on the front row of the grid this season.
A smidgen under two-thirds of the entire field.

MotoGP - Misano: This man has been one of the stars of the weekend - Ducati test rider Michele Pirro is allowed out to race again on a third bike at home and he's been the team's pacesetter, qualifying fifth. A lot of test miles around here certainly haven't hurt him.
Pirro's MotoGP career best so far is fifth in the wild 2012 season finale at Valencia on Gresini's CRT bike. Can he beat that today?

FR3.5 - Nurburgring: Tio Ellinas tiptoes around the last lap to claim his second win of the season from Strakka team-mate Gustav Malja by 2.2s.
At one point Ellinas had stopped for lengthy repairs to fit a replacement nose after making contact with Rowland at Turn 1. What a crazy race!

FR3.5 - Nurburgring: Heavy rain now, and a weaving leader Tio Ellinas starts his last lap with Gustav Malja breathing all over him.
The conditions catch out Rowland who has another quick spin in ninth.

FR3.5 - Nurburgring: All the drivers have made their stops. Long-time leader Fantin rejoins in sixth.
It is a Strakka one-two up front, with Ellinas leading Malja. Orudzhev is third, 0.6s ahead of de Vries with Alfonso Celis Jr in fifth 1.9s further back.
And just when you thought it had calmed down, light rain has been reported in sectors 1 and 2.

MotoGP - Misano: Marc Marquez was fastest in the warm-up this morning, although the Yamahas' pace was deceptive as they were doing long runs and monitoring tyre wear. Misano's been resurfaced this year - it's faster, less bumpy and harder on rubber, so that knowledge will be handy.
Marquez is confident in his performance, though. He was only 0.106s off Lorenzo in qualifying and felt he'd squandered a better time with mistakes.
His Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa has had one of those quietly quick Pedrosa style weekends and starts fourth.

FR3.5 - Nuburgring: Rowland has rejoined in 14th. On lap 15, only leader Fantin, Vaxiviere, Stoneman and Kanamaru in fourth have yet to come in for their mandatory stops.
Ellinas is P5 and should inherit the lead once the stops are over.
The pit window has been extended to lap 18.

FR3.5 - Nurburgring: Rowland pits from third at the conclusion of lap 12. As the field was bunched up for the safety car, the Fortec driver will once again drop to the tail of the pack.
FR3.5 - Nurburgring: Having said that, Malja is immediately passed by team-mate Ellinas at the restart. The Cypriot moves into P6.
FR3.5 - Nurburgring: Malja is the first of the drivers to have pitted in eighth and could be looking good for a win thanks to the safety car.
MotoGP - Misano: Rossi invariably pulls out a new helmet design for his home events, and here's his San Marino GP effort this year - it's a shark chasing a fish.
Based on the way this year's title fight is turning out, you'd have to say Rossi himself is the fish being pursued by Lorenzo's shark, though yesterday Lorenzo insisted he didn't have the teeth to be a shark...

The Yamaha team-mates had a brief spat yesterday when Rossi was dawdling on the racing line as Lorenzo came through on a final qualifying lap. It was quickly smoothed, with Rossi apologising and Lorenzo accepting it was just unfortunate timing, though the championship leader did get a penalty point on his licence.
This is another weekend where Lorenzo has looked frighteningly rapid from the outset and could be hard to stop disappearing from pole, but third is a lot better than Rossi often qualifies and his pace always steps up on race day.

FR3.5 - Nurburgring: The appearance of the safety car on lap seven is a bad break for leader Fantin, who had enjoyed a 13s lead over Lotus driver Matthieu Vaxiviere.
Oliver Rowland is third, ahead of Stoneman, Kanamaru, Dillmann.

FR3.5 - Nurburging: After spinning to the back at Turn 1, Rowland is incredibly back up to P4!
Fantin leads from Vaxiviere, while Ellinas has pitted from third at the first opportunity.
Panis also stopped for tyres, but the Tech 1 racer has now parked up at Turn 1 bringing out the safety car.

Rain
MotoGP - Misano: The MotoGP field will be heading out to the grid before long, and there are a few spots of rain around...
Not as much rain as the rain icon we've just used suggested, but we don't have a 'very light spits of drizzle' option.

Trophy
Moto2 - Misano: Zarco finds a bunch of French fans - well they're all wearing Rossi hats but they've also got French flags - and does his backflip of joy off the bike.

Rabat beats Nakagami to second, despite a near-shunt on the final lap, then it's Corsi, Simon and Folger completing the top six.
