DTM - Nurburgring: Wittmann could face a five-place grid penalty if found guilty of the breach of Article 30.9.
AUTOSPORT understands, however, that this particular regulation allows room for common sense to be applied (as is not the case with the parc ferme rules).
It's likely that, given the circumstances (pitlane not crowded etc) that - if found guilty - he may well be judged to have not endangered anyone, so could get off much more lightly.
We shall find out later what happens.

NASCAR - Michigan: It's another weekend without Tony Stewart as he continues to recover from his broken leg.
His title hopes are over for this year and there is no word yet on when he might be fit to return, but his Stewart-Haas team is continuing to unnerve Stewart's rivals with this ominous hashtag.

FIA GT - Slovakia Ring: Peter Kox has got a gripe, and not with his Reiter Lambo.
He reckons he deserved a place in AUTOSPORT's Top 25 Super Touring drivers.
His argument is that Yvan Muller is number three and they came together just about every other race in the BTCC in 1999.

MotoGP - Indianapolis: Final practice is about to commence at Indianapolis.
This is the session that decides who goes straight into Q2 and who has to battle through Q1. Right now, all the prototypes are in the top 12 on combined times from Friday, and it's Pramac duo Ben Spies and Andrea Iannone on the cut-off point in 11th and 12th.
