Auto GP - Nurburgring: AUTOSPORT understands an Argentinian team is considering joining next year's Auto GP series. Established motorsport technical boss Sergio Rinland is set to meet championship organisers for discussions at the series' Donington meeting later this month.

DTM - Nurburgring: Q3 is underway. Ten drivers have 10 minutes of track time, with the fastest four going into the Q4 shoot-out for pole.
Auto GP - Nurburgring: Blow also revealed that Comtec by Virtuosi is evaluating running a second car at the forthcoming Donington meeting, although nothing is finalised.
Auto GP - Nurburgring: Comtec by Virtuosi team manager Phil Blow stated he was happy with progress on the team's maiden weekend in the championship.
The Norfolk team's driver, F3 graduate Roberto La Rocca, tested at Hethel in preparation for his debut at Nurburgring.
"Roberto went very well in testing and in free practice," said Blow. "Understandably, he didn't have the experience on new soft tyres in qualifying to get the best out of them, but it's a good start."

Auto GP - Nurburgring: Championship challenger Kimiya Sato was slightly disappointed with sixth on the grid for this afternoon's opening Auto GP race.
The Euronova driver complained of a small electrical issue that was affecting his downchanges.
Sato had hoped to qualify in the top three on a circuit he knows well from a 2012 campaign in German F3.
DTM - Nurburgring: While AUTOSPORT has been pounding the paddock, all hell has been breaking loose, particularly in the Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup.
Race one was stopped early on due to a horrifying roll at the chicane for Lukas Schrier, who collided with Luca Rettenbacher, slid sideways off the track and was launched into a roll as he hit the gravel trap.
The car ended up perched on the barrier, but Schreier got out mercifully.

European F3 - Nurburgring: Lynn will test at Mugello for a day and two days at Hockenheim before the forthcoming Zandvoort round and is optimistic the problem can be pinpointed.
"This weekend is going to be very difficult now, the aim is just to score points," continued Lynn. "We have three days of testing coming up before Zandvoort, and we must sort the problem out before then.
"To be honest, we made a big step in that race. I was behind [Tom] Blomqvist but I dropped off a couple of times to run in clear air and the car was better. We just need to make another step again.
"If we can make the second fastest lap by the end of the weekend, I will be very happy."

European F3 - Nurburgring: After finishing 14th in Saturday morning's opening European F3 race, double 2013 winner Alex Lynn explained to AUTOSPORT the start of his weekend has been troubled by a ride height issue in practice and a subsequent "phantom understeer issue".
"We know the car is good because Raffaele won the race," said Lynn. "We can see from the data that with same brake pressure and the same throttle pressure the corner speed just isn’t the same, that’s what we’re trying to sort out."
