ALMS - Lime Rock: Our second qualifying session of the American afternoon is due off shortly too, as the Amercan Le Mans Series resumes at Lime Rock after its two-month break to allow competitors to attend the Le Mans 24 Hours.
NASCAR - Daytona: A quiet start for Talladega winner David Ragan, though. He is slowest of the six cars to run at Daytona so far. Truex is still on provisional pole.

NASCAR - Daytona: This July visit to Daytona is the 400-mile little brother of February's Daytona 500 showpiece, and takes place under the lights on Saturday night.
That event - won by Jimmie Johnson - was criticised for a lack of action, but after the second restrictor plate race of the year at Talladega in May provided a shock one-two finish for the small Front Row team, hopes are high that Daytona will produce a thriller too.

GP3 - Nurburgring: The flag falls on practice, with a flurry of late fastest times affecting the top of the times. First Jack Harvey hit the front, but was soon toppled by Dino Zamparelli. Then series returnee Alexander Sims made it four Brits in the top four places!
That sequence was shattered when Eric Lichtenstein (he's Argentinian, despite the name) hit the front, only for Sims to strike back and grab the fastest time by a tenth and a half. Impressive stuff.

GP3 - Nurburgring: Five minutes remaining in free practice, and Williamson continues to hold sway at the top of the times. Fellow Briton Dino Zamparelli has jumped up to second, ahead of David Fumanelli.

F3 Masters- Zandvoort: Lucas Auer ends up on top in FP2 for Prema. The Austrian's 1m32.157s lap is three tenths up on second-placed Alex Lynn's best in the Italian team's second Dallara-Merc. Felix Rosenqvist is third for Mucke, but his first-session best stands as the fastest time of the day.
GP3 - Nurburgring: Fifteen minutes in and the pacesetter is Kevin Korjus in his Koiranen GP entry, almost half a second clear of Williamson, Sainz and Kvyat.

GP3 - Nurburgring: Here's some irony, the early pacesetters are Carlos Sainz and Lewis Williamson. They are 0.012 apart - the last time they were that close they were colliding on Silverstone's Wellington Straight!

GP3 - Nurburgring: After a thrilling GP2 qualifying session, it's time for the GP3 field to take to the track for their 45-minute free practice session. The track is dry, but it's mostly cloudy so you can never rule out a rain shower here.

FIA GT - Zandvoort: Alon Day finishes the day quickest over FP1 & 2 in his Charouz Gravity Mercedes. His 1m39.575s best is less than one hundredth ahead of Sergei Afanasiev in the second of the team's trio of SLS AMGs. Niki Mayr-Melnhof ends up third quickest n FP2 behind the Mercs for the WRT Audi squad, but fellow WRT driver Laurens Vanthoor's morning best nets him best of the rest spot for the day.
FIA GT - Zandvoort: Sergei Afanasiev and then Alon Day leapfrog Mayr-Melnhof in the times. A Merc one-two at the top of the times - you wouldn't believe that from watching an SLS through the slow stuff.

GP2 - Nurburgring: They'll be dancing on the streets of Ruaudin tonight. DAMS nails a front-row lock-out, its second pole in succession but this time it's Stephane Richelmi who takes the top spot. It's his first proper GP2 pole, and he took it by 0.276s - an enormous amount in GP2 terms.
Behind Ericsson comes Frijns, Evans, Nasr and Leimer. Quaife-Hobbs is the top Briton (who would have thought that?) in seventh ahead of Calado and Bird.
