WEC - Austin: Senna is edging towards Bruni at the head of GTE Pro. That's not surprising given that the Ferrari is on tyres that are now two hours old - and did qualifying.
WEC - Austin: The Audi isn't getting away from Sarrazin. The gap still isn't out to a full second three laps after TK's move.
WEC - Austin: TK gets a better run onto the back straight and gets the inside line for Turn 12 and eases into the lead.
WEC - Austin: Buemi stops and hands over to Sarrazin, who sneaks out ahead of Kristensen to hang onto Toyota's lead.
A brief interruption of your WEC-watching (or should that be reading?) to remind you of some stellar British single-seater successes this weekend.
First, to GP2, where Sam Bird and Jolyon Palmer made it yet another Brit clean sweep of the sprint and feature races respectively in Singapore.
Bird's victory means he will go into the Abu Dhabi finale seven points behind points leader Fabio Leimer. It also continued a run of GP2 weekends with at least one British winner that stretches back to Barcelona in May.
There was also joy for Jordan King who, having already wrapped up the British F3 title at the Nurburgring, rounded out the season in style with victory in the final race of the weekend.
WEC - Austin: McNish pits to hand over to TK, who gets a new set of Michelins, of course. Buemi should follow the Audi a couple of laps later.
WEC - Austin: McNish's advantage on lap 45 is 6.3s. Lotterer, meanwhile, is up to fourth ahead of the P2 cars, but still two laps down.
WEC - Austin: Lotterer is now down in eighth behind the P2 frontrunners from OAK, Brundle and Plowman.
WEC - Austin: Bruni is leading GTE Pro from Senna (in for Mako). The lead AF Ferrari was the only car in class not to change tyres at the first round of stops.
WEC - Austin: The Audi's problem was a loose fusebox, probably resulting from its leap into the air over that orange pyramid.
With this race looking like it might just decide the WEC, here's a quick look at a how a different endurance racing championship was wrapped up this weekend: the Blancpain Endurance Series.
Maximilian Buhk triumphed over Maxime Martin in a thrilling battle in the conclusion of the Nurburgring season finale to claim the Blancpain title.
Buhk, who shared his polesitting HTP Motorsport Mercedes with Maximilian Gotz and Bernd Schneider, overhauled pre-Nurburgring championship leaders Daniel Zampieri, Cesar Ramos and Davide Rigon.
They had a terrible race in their Kessel Racing Ferrari, starting with a drive-through penalty and including a succession of offs.

WEC - Austin: Lotterer pits, a mechanic reaches into the cockpit and then after a bit of a kerfuffle the car heads back out.
WEC - Austin: Lotterer has slowed out on circuit. The headlights flash on and off as though he is cycling through some electrical systems.
WEC - Austin: The #91 Porsche catches fire as Bergmeister hands over to Pilet.
WEC - Austin: McNish is into the lead at the penultimate corner.
WEC - Austin: Another fastest lap from Lotterer. It's a 1m47, so quicker than either he or Fassler went in qualifying.
WEC - Austin: The two OAK Morgans, with Brundle and now Plowan driving, lead P2 after the first round of pitstops. Martin is down in fourth after a slow stop.
WEC - Austin: McNish, on new tyres remember, is edging towards Buemi. The gap is a shade over three seconds.
WEC - Austin: Lotterer, down in fifth, pumps in fastest lap of the race. Exactly what you would expect.
WEC - Austin: Double-stinting the tyres means Buemi still leads on lap 28. He's six seconds up on McNish.
WEC - Austin: Fassler is back out, a lap down on the leaders. Buemi pits - two laps after the Audis and crucially doesn't take tyres.
WEC - Austin: Both Audis are in. McNish gets into #2, but #1 is on its way into the garage.
WEC - Austin: They are ready for Fassler in the Audi pit.
WEC - Austin: Fassler has hit one of the orange pyramids designed to stop kerb cutting. The Audi jumps into the air. Buemi is past and then Fassler is tapped by one of the Porsches, which takes off a rear eligibility panel. Has the 2013 world championship just been decided?
WEC - Austin: Fassler is finally past the Toyota after dragging past on the back straight. Some very defensive driving from Buemi there.
WEC - Austin: It's pretty close in P2. Martin leads Brundle by 1.4s, with Baguette less than a second behind.
WEC - Austin: Mako is three and a bit seconds up in GTE Pro, but the next five cars are covered by little more than a second.
WEC - Austin: Duval's gap has hit the 10-second mark and then pumps in another fastest lap in the 1m48s.
WEC - Austin: Fassler gets a run on the Toyota down the long back straight. He tries to hang it around the outside into the stadium section, but there is side-to-side contact and Buemi holds on.
WEC - Austin: Fassler is still behind Buemi and, no doubt, frustrated as he sees Duval disappear up the road. The leader's advantage is now over seven seconds.
WEC - Austin: Mako is doing a Duval in GTE Pro and pulling away from second-placed Vilander in the best of the AF Ferraris.
WEC - Austin: Duval is chucking down some impressive times and is now four seconds up on Buemi.
WEC - Austin: Martin leads P2 from OAK duo Brundle and Baguette. Mako and Thiim are still ahead in the GTE classes.

WEC - Austin: Take two, and the two Audis lead the way again. Fassler has a look at his team-mate into Turn 1 and Buemi gets the second Audi on the exit.

WEC - Austin: It's going to be one more lap behind the safety car now.

WEC - Austin: Rossiter's Lotus had a coming together with Kaffer in the Pecom ORECA. The damaged car is being winched onto a flat bed, so the safety car is unlikely to be called in any time soon.

WEC - Austin: Duval leads under the yellows, Martin is ahead in P2. Astons lead the GTE classes, Mako in Pro and Thiim in Am.

WEC - Austin: The safety car is out. The #31 Lotus with Rossiter at the wheel went off at Turn 1 and looks stranded on the asphalt run off.
WEC - Austin: It's Audi one-two, Duval ahead of Fassler. Buemi takes to the astroturf on the exit of Turn 1.
