MotoGP - Assen: Dovizioso lashed out at Barbera a couple of times there. He clearly blames the Spaniard for impeding him and causing his dismal 15th place on the grid.

MotoGP - Assen: Hayden and Iannone's first laps are in the thick of traffic and are a long way off the pace. Dovizioso still in the pits.

MotoGP - Assen: Q1 is moments away. When this system was envisaged, the suspicion was that it would always be a foregone conclusion, with the 12 prototype bikes always filling Q2.
But that hasn't been the case so far and it won't be in the Netherlands either. Aleix Espargaro's Aspar Aprilia is already firmly in Q2 so at least one prototype will miss the pole shootout.
And it's going to be a Ducati. Factory men Nicky Hayden and Andrea Dovizioso and Pramac's Andrea Iannone all have to fight their way in through Q2.
Given the speed Randy de Puniet just showed in final practice, there's going to be a CRT threat too.

"After completing successful surgery last night Jorge Lorenzo was assessed by the medical team in Barcelona this morning and declared fit to fly," says a Yamaha statement.

GP2 - Silverstone: Session over, with the very impressive Fabio Leimer staying on top with his 1m57.996s. Robin Frijns is second quickest, 0.434s down, ahead of James Calado, Julian Leal and the surprise of the session, Daniel de Jong.

It's effectively a quick warm-up for qualifying, replacing the bit of old-style qualifying in which everyone did race preparation and no one went for a proper fast lap.
Riders will be very pleased to get some dry running for the first time since Thursday morning, while Marc Marquez will be testing his fitness after the crash earlier today that left him with a fractured finger on his left hand, a minor fracture to his right big toe, and a bruised hip and shoulder.
It's effectively a quick warm-up for qualifying, replacing the bit of old-style qualifying in which everyone did race preparation and no one went for a proper fast lap.

GP2 - Silverstone: It's a shame this isn't qualifying! With the drying conditions, the lap times are lit up with sector times of purples, yellows and greens. Leimer has pitted with three minutes to go.
GP2 - Silverstone: Leimer responds by retaking the top spot with a 1m57.996s, fastest in the first two sectors. Daniel de Jong is fastest in the third sector, which is a surprise.
