Something's happened! It was all a bit processional but Tordoff's just dropped from fourth to seventh. Collard's also barged his way past Ingram, who drops to 10th.

Rabat expertly fends off Rins to take the Aragon Moto2 win, while Zarco can only manage sixth.
By our quick maths - and that's not always an AUTOSPORT Live strength - Zarco is still sitting on a 78-point lead with 100 available. So Rabat has to outscore him by four at Motegi in a fortnight to keep it going again.

Rins gets through at the end of the back straight, but Rabat pinches the lead straight back through the next corner.

Mid-distance and Jackson leads by 2.1s. Jordan has Shedden and Tordoff close to him now, so the soft tyres could be crying enough shortly. Collard's just dumped Plato out of the top 10 on laptimes for race two...

Rins is having a massive go at Rabat for the Moto2 lead as they start the final lap, while Zarco is back up to sixth.

Rob Collard's just pulled a brilliant move on Plato for P10 - round the outside into Brooklands. Fine stuff. Plato is 11th, which is concerning - though he has a decent time and should start inside the top 10 for race two.

Zarco's lost another place, he's now seventh behind improving Malaysian rider Hafizh Syahrin. Unless Rabat has some angst with Rins in this lead battle, we don't reckon there'll be a Moto2 crown decided today.

Rookie Rins isn't going to let Rabat have it too easy though, into the final four laps he's all over the back of the reigning campion.

It's calmed down a bit now, with Jackson maintaining a healthy lead from Jordan with six out of 22 laps completed. Shedden's fighting a rearguard action against Tordoff, with a train of cars in pursuit.

It's Moto2 time at the Aragon Grand Prix at the moment - we're running late after a stoppage for a big crash involving Dominique Aegerter. He's been taken to the medical centre conscious but in pain.

The grid's been cleared, everything's checked and ready to go - the formation lap is under way at Silverstone. Mat Jackson and Gordon Shedden lead the field away.
Shedden's nearest rival Jason Plato is down in 10th and has been complaining of a slight engine issue, leaving him short on straightline speed. He thinks the tow he'll pick up in the pack today will help disguise it.

Over in the World Touring Car Championship, Citroen wrapped up back-to-back titles courtesy of a pair of wins for Jose Maria Lopez and Yvan Muller at Shanghai.

Oh dear, we've lost a driver already - Tony Gilham, in for Team Hard regular Kieran Gallagher this weekend, has been wheeled off the grid in his Toyota Avensis.

We've already had a trio of support races today, so a tip of the hat to child-of-the-BTCC Ricky Collard (Rob's boy) who won a thrilling MSA Formula contest, besting 2014 McLaren AUTOSPORT BRDC Award finalist Sennan Fielding.
Ex-GP3 racer Dino Zamparelli claimed his first race win in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, while Dan Cammish was crowned champion after a runaway rookie season.
And as a taster for the frenetic tin-top action about the come, there was plenty of hustle and bustle in the Ginetta Junior ranks as Danish youngster Patrick Mathiesen took the win.
