MotoGP
Abraham parks in the pits and hobbles off the Cardion Honda. He's still struggling with the foot injury he sustained at Barcelona way back in June.
DTM
Wehrlein is now 3.3s ahead of Rockenfeller, well clear of DRS danger.

Rockenfeller and Farfus force their way past Juncadella. He's down to ninth, having been running sixth, but will have earned plenty of Mercedes brownie points for killing his own race to help Wehrlein.
MotoGP
Rossi takes his first major look at Pedrosa for a while, but doesn't make any real progress in his Turn 1 attempt.

Iannone can't quite keep up with the Pedrosa/Rossi battle now and has fallen a couple of seconds behind. Fair enough, the bloke's got a dislocated shoulder.

He's still 7s clear of team-mate Dovizioso in fifth, the other Ducati man's hands full with Smith and Aleix Espargaro on his tail.

That didn't take long, Glock has been handed a drive-through. He was copping it all over the shop, and after being forced wide by Mortara, gave the Italian the slightest help off the road at Turn 3.

Lorenzo's lead is pretty much under control and we're not quite at half-distance yet - it was chipped back to 2.6s briefly but is now 3s again. And Rossi still can't get past Pedrosa for second.

Further back, Ekstrom dives down the inside of Glock at Turn 1. Tomczyk follows him through. A lap and two corners later, Mortara is spat out of the pack at Turn 2 while trying to pass Glock. Mortara is summoned to pitlane to save the car, stewards will investigate the lively incident.
MotoGP
Another crasher: Petrucci falls while running 10th and trying to make a bit more progress up the scorers. He's fine.

What's the best time to announce your rider for next season? Right in the middle of a race that's pivotal to the championship? Go for it Avintia Racing... It's just issued a press release to say that Loris Baz will switch to its Ducati from Forward next year.

A good signing but a curious time to announce it.

So that's sixth for Wehrlein, as Juncadella provides stout support behind him. Molina still leads di Resta by 6.7s, with Spengler third, Blomqvist fourth and Gotz fifth.

It happens, eventually. Wehrlein gets Juncadella at the chicane, and the Spaniard slots right back in front of Rockenfeller. Some breathing space for the championship leader.

But the main story, Rowland crosses the line in eighth to secure the FR3.5 title. The Foretc crew are delighted.

It doesn't happen, Wehrlein starts the final lap second in a four-car pack behind Juncadella, but ahead of Rockenfeller and Farfus. Delicate times.

Orudhzev takes the win, Vaxiviere has to settle for second. Ellinas is third.

Pedrosa continues to hold second, keeping Rossi (and Iannone) at bay, and he's trimmed Lorenzo's lead a little. It's now 2.6s.

Wehrlein has been asking Mercedes for DRS, to support him from the chasing Rockenfeller. Mercedes tells him to pass Juncadella - who was 2.8s ahead at Turn 10.

The clock is down to zero and Orudzhev leads Vaxiviere over the line for the final lap.
MotoGP
Marquez has kept his helmet on and the visor closed as he stomps back through the paddock. Peeved. But that anger can only be directed at himself.

Onto what will be the penultimate lap of the race, can Vaxiviere clear Orudzhev? They are split by just half a second.

Glock is at the front of a pack containing Ekstrom, Tomczyk, Mortara, Tambay and Martin, all fighting for the final point. Vintage DTM.

Second crasher is Alex de Angelis, who has a low-side while dicing with Elias.

Lorenzo's lead hits three seconds as he barrels onto lap seven of 23.

Busy midfield too, there's about 3.5s covering everyone from 11th to 20th, led by Yonny Hernandez.

The battle for the final podium spot is still on between Ellinas and Stoneman. The Red Bull-backed driver is all over the former race leader.

Pol Espargaro now shoots wide and falls to 10th, losing out to his brother (ouch), his team-mate Smith (ouch), Crutchlow and Petrucci.

Rowland is still running down in eighth. If it ends like this he will be champion.

Into the final five minutes of this race now. Orudzhev still leads from Vaxiviere on lap 24.

Rockenfeller pits at the front of the field, as we tick into the second half of the race. He emerges between Wehrlein and Farfus - Wehrlein's move a couple of laps ago just got even more important.

Dovizioso is through on Espargaro to take fifth. Rossi is still behind Pedrosa, the pair 2.6s behind Lorenzo, with Iannone hanging onto their tails.

Toni Elias news! Up to 21st, ahead of Hector Barbera, Alex de Angelis and Karel Abraham. OK it's not quite beating Rossi to Estoril 2006 victory, but not being last on a little-prepared comeback is a fair effort.

Vaxiviere is all over Orudhzev now. Pushing and pushing for the lead.

Wehrlein's next two targets will be stablemates Gotz and Juncadella. You'd suggest he won't encounter a lot of resistance if/when he catches them.

Rossi is now all over Pedrosa for second. Lorenzo can dominate all he wants, but he might only pull back five points on Rossi at this rate.

Great early progress from Dovizioso after that poor qualifying result. He's up to sixth and poised to take fifth from Pol Espargaro.

Rossi slices past Iannone and his wonky shoulder, taking third.
