Carroll Happy with Third Place
Adam Carroll was his usual chirpy self after another satisfying qualifying session brought his third spot on the grid for tomorrow's GP2 race in Monaco
"I'm happy with that," he smiled after the session. "We've been working on the car a lot, and I think there was at least another tenth there, but Monaco means traffic and that's just the way it goes here. I can't complain."
With the back-to-back practice and qualifying sessions out of the way, Carroll is now concentrating on the race.
He noted his chances of success are very solid: "Third is pretty good here, and we'll have a think about the strategy and see if we can get another win here."
Carroll echoed Heikki Kovalainen's sentiments about race strategy, accepting that the pitstops could change the entire race for the drivers: "It's not like Formula Three. Here you can't just wait for the lights to go green and then go.
"But that said I think we'll be in alright shape tomorrow."
