Bruno Bonifacio and Roy Nissany get 2015 Formula Renault 3.5 seats

Formula Renault Eurocup race winner Bruno Bonifacio and Formula 3 European championship driver Roy Nissany will race in Formula Renault 3.5 this year with Draco and Tech 1 respectively

Brazilian Bonifacio was a factor in the FR2.0 Eurocup title race in the early part of 2014, although he slumped to fifth in the standings as McLaren junior Nyck de Vries went on to take the title.

Nissany graduates to FR3.5 after spending two years in F3, taking a best finish of sixth and a highest championship position of 17th last year.

"It's impossible to imagine how happy I am for having secured a ride with Draco," said Bonifacio, who completes an all-Brazilian line-up at the team alongside Pietro Fantin.

"I have never had any doubt that this was going to be the team and the series for me and I did my utmost to make it."

Bonifacio tested extensively for Draco at the end of 2014, driving for the team at Jerez and Motorland in October and November.

Tech 1 team manager Sarah Abadie said that the French outfit's initial focus with Nissany (pictured) will be to get him up to speed with the faster FR3.5 machinery.

"2015 will be a learning year for Roy and we're expecting him to improve throughout the season," she said.

"He hasn't yet driven an FR3.5 so we're going to maximise his preparation to enable him to get used to the demands of the car thanks to our simulator.

"The aim is to be in the top 10 to start with and top five by the end of the season to finish among the best rookies."
