Van der Garde on Masters pole
Home driver Giedo van der Garde will start on pole for tomorrow's Ultimate Masters F3 race at Zandvoort in the Netherlands
The ASM driver was the only man to dip below the 1:33 barrier on a warm day at the seaside track.
Van der Garde's time from the first session was good enough all afternoon, and he held his cushion of three tenths of a second until the end.
Teammate Paul di Resta will line up alongside van der Garde after dominating his group in both sessions, so it looks extremely good for an ASM hat-trick in the invitational race.
Sebastien Buemi will start third for Mucke Motorsport, with fourth-placed Kohei Hirate the first Manor Motorsport representative.
ASM driver Sebastien Vettel looked unperturbed by the finger injury he picked up in the Renault World Series at Spa last weekend.
The German has qualified fifth and he expects to race without any problems tomorrow.
