Roberto Merhi and Richie Stanaway join Status GP for GP3 test
Former single-seater racers Roberto Merhi and Richie Stanaway will test for Status Grand Prix's GP3 team this week at Estoril

Mercedes-contracted Merhi and former Lotus Formula 1 junior Stanaway have not raced a single-seater since 2011 and 2012 respectively.
Merhi has spent the last two years racing in the DTM, but was not included in the Mercedes race line-up for 2014, while Stanaway has competed in the Porsche Supercup and GT racing since a back injury curtailed his 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 campaign.
The pair will join Nick Yelloly, who is already signed to race for Status, and be Formula Renault 2.0 NEC graduate Alfonso Celis Jr for the test in Portugal.
Celis said: "I'm really excited to be here with Status Grand Prix.
"I aim to take the best experience possible from the test and I'm here to learn the team, the car and how it all works."
Merhi and Stanaway both have previous experience in GP3, with the former finishing sixth in the championship's inaugural season in 2010.
Stanaway joined the series for two events at the end of 2011, taking a victory on his debut weekend at Spa with ART.
Merhi has enjoyed some single-seater action this winter, which has included this week's Formula Renault 3.5 test at Jerez with Zeta Corse.
