Oulton test: Antinucci on top again

Manor Motorsport rookie Richard Antinucci showed that his form at Snetterton last week was no fluke by topping yesterday's British Formula 3 official test at Oulton Park

The American was the only man to drop below the 1m30secs mark at the Cheshire track to go fastest for the second test in succession.

Reigning Scholarship Class champion Robbie Kerr was the next best in his Alan Docking Racing Dallara, ahead of promising young Finn Heikki Kovalainen, who topped a test at Donington at the beginning of last week.

Title favourite James Courtney was fourth for champion team Carlin Motorsport, with Manor's two other drivers, Ronnie Bremer and Mark Taylor, fifth and sixth.

The sessions were interrupted by a number of red flags in the dry, cold conditions. One driver who came to grief was Indian Karun Chandhok, who crashed his Scholarship Class car on his very first lap. The damage left him on the sidelines for the rest of the day.
