Manor drivers top Snetterton test

Formula 3 rookie Richard Antinucci led a Manor Motorsport one-two at an official test at Snetterton today (Thursday)

The American headed team-mate Ronnie Bremer in the sunny conditions. The only problem the 20 drivers faced was very strong winds across the flat Norfolk circuit.

The top five, which also included Robbie Kerr, Ernani Judice and Bruce Jouanny, all set their best times in the afternoon session. But sixth and seventh fastest Mark Taylor and Fabio Carbone were both unable to improve on their morning times.

Taylor said: "The wind here makes a big difference, but it's the same for everybody. It's good that there aren't too many cars out there, but we're going a lot better than we at Donington on Tuesday."

Reigning champions Carlin Motorsport chose not to run at Snetterton. The next official test day will be next Tuesday at Oulton Park.
