Hartley on top again at Snetterton
Brendon Hartley stayed on top of the British Formula 3 pre-season testing times for a second day at Snetterton today
The 18-year-old Carlin Motorsport rookie bettered his quickest time from yesterday by two tenths of a second to edge out fellow F3 rookie Marcus Ericsson by just 0.017s.
Ericsson set the fastest time of the morning session today, but the Fortec Motorsport driver slipped behind Hartley when he didn't improve his time later in the day.
Mexican Sergio Perez was third quickest for T-Sport, with Oliver Turvey fourth for Carlin. Turvey was second in this morning's session but missed the afternoon running due to technical problems with his car.
Rodolfo Gonzalez made his first outing of the year with Hitech Racing and finished the day in 10th place. Ultimate Motorsport pairing Esteban Guerrieri and Ricardo Teixeira also made their 2008 debuts, finishing 17th and 26th overall.
The best of the National Class runners was again Carlin's Andy Meyrick. He wound up 12th overall, just a tenth of a second quicker than Fluid Motorsport's National Class pairing of Stefan Wilson and Jay Bridger.
The next official British F3 test takes place at Silverstone on Thursday.
