Guerrieri grabs maiden pole

Argentina's Esteban Guerrieri notched up his first pole position in the Formula 3 Euroseries at Oschersleben - by just 0.038 seconds from series leader Paul di Resta

Guerrieri lapped his Manor Motorsport Dallara-Mercedes in 1:18.445, compared to di Resta's 1:18.483 in his ASM-run Dallara-Merc.

Romain Grosjean was third fastest for Signature, lapping his Dallara-Merc in 1:18.700. Opening round winner Kohei Hirate was fourth in the second Manor car, ahead of teammate Kazuki Nakajima, who won his first race of the year last time out at EuroSpeedway Lausitz.

Jonathan Summerton was an impressive sixth overall, and top rookie, in his Mucke Motorsport Dallara-Merc.

Also showing well was Peter Elkmann, who was ninth quickest in the only Opel-powered Dallara in the top 18 places.
