F3 Euroseries regular Grosjean took the lead at the start from pole and wasn't headed throughout.

However, second-placed Mike Conway, who couldn't live with Grosjean in the 24-lap encounter, takes a full quota of 20 points for victory because the Signature driver is only guesting this weekend and is not a championship regular.

Conway has taken a chunk out of Bruno Senna's championship lead, after the Brazilian picked up a puncture on the opening lap and had to pit. Thanks to a safety car period he was able to catch up to the tail of the field, but could only work his way back up to 11th.

Signature's Guillaume Moreau inherited third after Carlin Motorsport drivers Christian Bakkerud and Maro Engel each had incidents in the closing stages while holding onto the final podium position. Bakkerud reported a steering breakage and Engel lost ground following contact with Moreau.

Oliver Jarvis finished fourth ahead of Charlie Kimball and Engel.

The second British F3 race takes place round the street circuit tomorrow.
