Di Resta penalised, loses win
F3 Euroseries championship leader Paul di Resta has lost his victory in the second race at the Nurburgring today, after his controversial collision with teammate Giedo van der Garde
Di Resta attacked van der Garde into the chicane towards the end of the race, and the move ended with contact, with the Dutchman spinning out of the lead.
Di Resta claimed van der Garde moved across too late, but the latter disagreed and laid the blame firmly at the Scottish driver's door.
He then pulled away to take a convincing victory but has now been docked 30 seconds by race stewards for his part in the incident.
It means he is classified 13th, with Sebastien Vettel inheriting the victory from Richard Antinucci.
As a result, Vettel has moved to within six points of di Resta at the top of the championship standings.
