Conway sets media day pace
Mike Conway was fastest in the test session that took place as part of the 2006 British Formula Three International Series media launch day
The Raikkonen Robertson Racing driver lapped Silverstone's International circuit in 1:15.266, fractionally faster than McLaren/Autosport Young Driver Award winner Oliver Jarvis.
Although Mercedes powered teams dominated most of the leading positions, Carlin Motorsport upheld Mugen Honda honour with Jarvis in second and fellow rookie Maro Engel in fifth place.
T-Sport's Rodolfo Gonzalez was the quickest National Class driver in 14th place overall.
