Ex-HRT Formula 1 team-mates Bruno Senna and Karun Chandhok will link up again to drive for Indian firm Mahindra in the inaugural Formula E championship.
The duo become the fifth and sixth drivers to seal 2014/15 Formula E seats, joining Abt's Lucas di Grassi and Daniel Abt, and Virgin recruits Jaime Alguersuari and Sam Bird.
In addition to their half-season together at HRT in 2010, Senna and Chandhok were also team-mates with iSport in GP2 two years earlier.
"It's also going to be a nice reunion for me with Bruno again," said Chandhok.
"He's one of my closest friends from the racing world; we respect each other and work well together which will be good for the development of the team.
"The team are showing a lot of commitment to Formula E and it's very encouraging to see the support of senior members of the group to this programme.
"To be a part of the only Indian team in this series is a real honour for me."
Senna added: "There is a real ambition within the team to be leaders in Formula E from the start."
Both drivers have primarily raced in sportscars since leaving F1. Senna retains a partial World Endurance Championship GTE programme with the factory Aston Martin team, while Chandhok is also driving for Murphy Prototypes in the European Le Mans Series.
The Formula E project is motorcycle company Mahindra's first project in car racing.
AUTOSPORT understands that it will bring in an established European single-seater team as its partner in the programme.
