Williams drivers Ralf Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya were in optimistic mood as they launched the team's new FW24 car at the Silverstone circuit on Friday.
German Schumacher said he will be aiming to win as early as the first Grand Prix in Australia on March 3, but is hoping the reliability of the car will improve this season.
"If anything I have to go quicker," said Schumacher, who finished fourth in last year's Championship after scoring three wins. "We hope our first win of the season will come in Melbourne, but what is most important is to improve the reliability. If we have reliability then we have a chance to win.
"We as a team try our best but we shouldn't set our targets too high. Whatever comes out in the end we will be happy."
Colombian Montoya said it was too early to make predictions as he waits until the conclusion of pre-season testing, but did confirm that he wants to see an improvement in results in his second season in the sport.
"I have high hopes for the car, but I think we've got to go through the pre-season testing before we make any predictions," said Montoya. "Realistically we want to be better than last year. I want to be more competitive and more consistent and to work better within the team."
Both Montoya and Schumacher will give the new FW24 a run at the Silverstone circuit this afternoon before flying out to Barcelona for a major test.
