Williams Aim to 'Come Back Strongly'

Technical director Patrick Head has warned that his Williams-BMW team will bounce back at the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim in two weeks after their winning run came to an end at the British Grand Prix today.

Technical director Patrick Head has warned that his Williams-BMW team will bounce back at the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim in two weeks after their winning run came to an end at the British Grand Prix today.

Rubens Barrichello came home to take his first win of the season for Ferrari at Silverstone to end Williams driver Ralf Schumacher's two-race winning streak. Williams lost seven points to Ferrari in the Constructors' Championship race as a result as Juan Pablo Montoya's eight points for second place was the only score for the team with Ralf Schumacher coming home ninth.

With Michael Schumacher adding a further five points for fourth to Barrichello's 10 for victory, Ferrari extended their advantage to 10 points at the head of the standings.

"I don't think it is an off race, but I think the circuits coming up will suit us well and I think Ferrari were always going to be strong on this track," said Head. "Every track is different and it plays to some of the strong or weaker points of each car.

"They were obviously in good shape here but every track is different and they were just a bit stronger than us. We will be going to Hockenheim and aiming to come back strongly."
