Video: McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari upgrades

Back-to-back Formula 1 weekends in Singapore and Japan brought a raft of updates across the big teams. CRAIG SCARBOROUGH explains what changed for McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari

Three of Formula 1's biggest teams have introduced a range of tweaks over the previous two grand prix weekends.

Between them McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes have adapted, refined or changed a number of aerodynamic elements on their respective challengers.

Craig Scarborough's videos delve into the detail, explained by Stuart Codling.

McLAREN CHASING AERO PERFORMANCE

Zero points and frustrated drivers made for a painful home race for engine supplier Honda, but McLaren is continuing to push through upgrades to try to end the season on a high - with several areas refined for the final stretch of the campaign.

FERRARI'S NEW FLOOR TRICK

Sebastian Vettel's Singapore victory, with Mercedes toiling, went against the 2015 form book - but there was a technical tweak introduced that weekend that could help the Scuderia in the future, and entice other teams into doing the same thing.

MERCEDES MAKES AN AERO PUSH

Throughout the year the dominance of the Mercedes W06 has meant aerodynamic development has been muted, because major strides in performance haven't been required. But in Japan last weekend, some changes did emerge.
