With the launch season for Formula 1 2019 just around the corner, the first controversies of the new year have already broken. But in many cases, the seeds of the stories that will dominate the series' news this year have already been sown

The Formula 1 revolution that Liberty Media is planning may still be two years away, but the championship can't just sit back and wait for possible better times ahead.

With the world's digital and media landscape constantly changing, F1 needs to stay aggressive and keep making gains over the next two years if it's going to stand any chance of fully capitalising on everything it plans to do.
