Both World Champion Michael Schumacher and Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya were summoned by the FIA's race stewards following an incident during the European Grand Prix.
German Schumacher spun out on lap 43 of 60 after Colombian Montoya pulled off an ambitious overtaking manoeuvre, and both the Ferrari driver and the Williams man insisted his rival had done nothing wrong.
The race stewards called both men to hear their version of the incident and decided to take no action whatsoever.
"Following a report from the race director which stated that car number 3 (Juan Pablo Montoya) caused a collision with the driver of car number 1 (Michael Schumacher), the Stewards of the Meeting summoned both drivers and their team representatives," said the FIA in the statement.
"Having heard evidence from both drivers and viewed video evidence, the Stewards of the Meeting are satisfied that the collision is a racing incident and decide that no action is required."
Schumacher returned to the track and went on to finish in fifth place while Montoya completed a Williams one-two after finishing behind teammate Ralf Schumacher.
