Rosberg relaxed about his F1 future

Nico Rosberg says he is relaxed about his Formula One future, amid growing interest in him from various teams

The German is having a good season so far, making a significant step forward in his pace compared to the end of his rookie season in 2006.

That form has prompted speculation that other teams, including Ferrari, are interested in luring him away from Williams when his contract expires at the end of next year.

But Rosberg has made it clear he is in no rush to make a quick switch. He says he is happy with the way his career is progressing and believes his talent will ensure he ends up in the best car possible when the time comes to make a decision.

When asked whether Ferrari are even on his agenda, Rosberg said: "Not necessarily. I do not feel that I have to drive for Ferrari at all costs during my Formula One career.

"I simply aim to end up in the best car, and it is not so important for me which name is on that car. I also firmly believe that a superior driver will sooner or later end up in a winning car.

"It happened a tad sooner with Lewis Hamilton and it might take a bit longer with me, but I am sure it will happen."

Rosberg heads into this weekend's British Grand Prix hopeful he can add more points to his tally.

"We had a productive test there before France, so we should have a good chance of scoring points this weekend," he explained.
