One of my Best Races, Says Trulli

Jarno Trulli believes the Spanish Grand Prix was one of the best races of his career after he battled with car handling dramas to claim third place

Although the Italian already has two second placed finishes to his name this season, and had probably expected more from his Barcelona weekend after claiming provisional pole position on Saturday, he was delighted with his run at the Circuit de Catalunya.

"To be honest I have to say that this is one of the best races of my career," said Trulli, who held off teammate Ralf Schumacher after a race-long duel. "The car was not very good and I had to fight very hard."

Trulli said, however, he believed Schumacher deserved third place more than him.

"I managed to stay ahead of Ralf," he said. "I was quicker with more fuel and slower with less fuel because of the car set-up, but it was a tough job to stay ahead of him - and today he probably deserved third place instead of me."
