Montoya Wants Good Relationship with Ralf

BMW-Williams' new recruit Juan Pablo Montoya has said he is keen to have a good working relationship with team-mate Ralf Schumacher.
Colombian Montoya dismissed recent reports that he and Schumacher did not get along and said he is looking forward to working and driving alongside his German colleague.
"It's important for us to have a good relationship because that is going to help the team," said Montoya. "If everything works well together then things will improve faster than if you are fighting.
"Ralf is quick, which is really good because we will push each other. In a team where there is no number one and two driver each one must gain the respect through his results and the team is giving Ralf and myself exactly the same opportunity.
"I think a lot of the so-called problems came from the press claiming that he said this and I said that. I am very sure that we will get on well."
Despite saying that his first win could yet be a year away, Montoya is determined to go out and prove his critics wrong in the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday.
He added: "This is going to be a huge challenge for me, I don't know what to expect. I have to learn from other people and play it really smart.
"It's a learning year and although you want to try and win all the time, sometimes you don't have the car that is able to do that, as happened to me last year in America.
"All I know is that I am going out there and give 100 per cent. It may take a year to win, maybe another year or maybe three years, but when the time comes you have to be ready for it. Winning is not easy and even in Champ Cars I never expected to win in my first year."
