Montoya Baffled by BAR's Celebrations

Williams driver Juan Pablo Montoya on Thursday said he was surprised by the BAR team's celebrations following a podium at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Briton Jenson Button has claimed two podiums from the last two races for BAR and the team, who are now joint third with Williams, ran out of champagne as they celebrated their achievements at the last race in Bahrain.
Montoya, however, was baffled by their elation.
"I was amazed looking at the BAR celebrations because, who won the race? It is nice to get a podium but I was a bit shocked (at the way they celebrated)," Montoya said today at the Imola circuit.
"For me I'm not happy finishing second. I don't want to be second, I don't want to be celebrating second place. At the moment I want to win and I'm doing everything I can to win."
Montoya is currently fourth in the Championship having been passed by Button after his Williams let him down while running third behind the leading Ferrari pair in Bahrain.
But the Colombian is not ready to accept that BAR are on a level with his Williams team, who have started disappointingly after being tipped as title favourites by many before the start of the season.
"In Bahrain with 10 laps to go they (BAR) didn't have anything to get past me," said Montoya. "We have just got to keep our focus on Ferrari and nobody else. You need to keep your focus on where you need to be.
"I think it is going to be difficult to close the gap. I'm giving 100 percent on the track, I give 100 percent wherever I go and every time I'm in the car, but if you don't have the equipment to do it then you can't do it.
"There is not one thing that you can say (is Williams' problem), we just need to improve the package. I think it is better than last year, but you look at Ferrari's car and they have gone massively quicker."
