Massa upbeat on Turkish GP chances

Ferrari's Felipe Massa is upbeat about his chances of a second consecutive victory at the Turkish Grand Prix

"For sure it is a special circuit for me, I got my first pole, my first victory, and hopefully we can repeat that," Massa told a news conference.

"I like the place, the country, the city, and the track is very challenging for he drivers. Hopefully we can have a great result on Sunday here," added the Brazilian, aiming to bounce back after a disappointing Hungarian Grand Prix, where he finished down in 13th position.

"Hungary was a disaster for me, a disastrous result," added Massa, who last year beat Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher to grab his maiden victory in Istanbul.

"We knew starting from the back it could have been very, very difficult to do something, I expected to do something better but it was a difficult track for overtaking starting very heavy so I didn't have a single opportunity.

"It was very frustrating being stuck behind slow cars knowing the pace is not what I can show. Here is a good track, I think our car must be very competitive and I am really looking forward to having a good qualifying and a great race."

Massa is 21 points behind championship leader Lewis Hamilton with six races remaining, but the Ferrari driver has vowed not to give up on his chances.

"I will never put my head down. I will keep my head up and fight until the last moment," he said.
