Jordan Complete Three-Day Test at Silverstone

The Jordan Grand Prix team concluded on Thursday a three-day test at the Silverstone circuit, where the British squad completed their preparations for the San Marino Grand Prix.

German Nick Heidfeld and Giorgio Pantano worked alongside test driver Timo Glock, completing over 2000km during the three days of the test. Heidfeld drove the first two days, while Pantano and Glock wrapped up the test yesterday.

No times were issued.

"We have had a really good test this week with all three drivers contributing to the programme," said Jordan's Head of Race and Test Engineering James Robinson.

"The warm and dry weather, quite unusual for Silverstone at this time of year, and reliability of the Jordan Ford EJ14 have allowed us to complete a significant testing distance during the three days, which is very positive for us.

"We have made good progress with Bridgestone's tyre programme and they have done some very good work with us on that front so we are fairly optimistic going forward to the next two races."
