Hamilton not worried by gap to Massa
Lewis Hamilton says he is not worried about the gap to championship rival Felipe Massa ahead of tomorrow's Singapore Grand Prix
The Ferrari driver secured pole position for the night race by over six tenths of a second, with Hamilton having to settle for second place.
But the McLaren driver said he was not worried by Massa's performance, and admitted he felt comfortable in the position he is in.
"I cannot be worried, but for sure I think my lap was by no means perfect," said the Briton. "Felipe did a perfect lap and we know they are competitive.
"We don't know what their strategy is but we are in a good position for tomorrow.
"I am happy where I am. It will be a tough race but the position we are in is quite good."
Hamilton warned, however, that his team are likely to have to beat Ferrari in the pits, as he is predicting no overtaking in the race.
"You won't be able to overtake here," said Hamilton. "I don't think so. For the quicker cars if there is not much time difference. We will just do the best job we can tomorrow."
