Glock not expecting Canada repeat

Toyota driver Timo Glock believes it will be difficult for him to repeat in Magny-Cours this weekend his fourth place finish at the Canadian Grand Prix

The German, who scored his first points in Montreal since the same race four years previously, was buoyed by the result but excepted that it had come through extraordinary circumstances.

"It will be difficult to be P4 again," Glock told autosport.com. "There were some special circumstances in Canada, but we had the speed with all the problems to be in the top six. Here will be difficult.

"We have to be realistic and say there are two Ferraris, two McLarens and two BMWs which will make it very difficult to be in the top six. But we had a very good test in Barcelona and now we have to see how it goes in Magny-Cours."

The 26-year-old still believes points are on offer after setting the tenth fastest time in the first practice session on Friday.

"The possibility is there to grab some points, but if it's enough for the top five I'm not sure about it," he said. "We had some new parts at the Barcelona test, but the question is what the other teams have done.

"I hope we can take our improvements from Barcelona to Magny-Cours."
