Fisichella ready to win
Giancaro Fisichella says he may be able to beat Michael Schumacher to victory in Sunday's San Marino Grand Prix
But if he doesn't do it this weekend he believes the chances are good he will notch up his first win before the end of the season.
The little Italian dubbed the Pocket Rocket has finished fifth and second in the opening two races to sit second to Schumacher in the championship.
"I am very pleased with the result in Brazil and this has been a great period for me. I did a good job in Australia and scored two points and in Brazil I got on the podium," he said.
"I'm second in the championship and its fantastic.
"Brazil was my fifth second place so I want to improve on it and I want to win my first race in F1.
"I know it is very difficult but there is a good possibility this year because the car is getting better, I am very confident and I hope to win here in Imola, my home city."
Fisichella's confidence is based on Silverstone testing last week which he headed for two days.
