Fisichella Hoping for Less Troubled Saturday

Giancarlo Fisichella is hoping for a better day tomorrow after struggling with problems in the opening sessions of the Hungarian Grand Prix.
"I had lots of problems this morning and as a result we didn't have the opportunity to run my race car to try out and improve the set-up," said the Italian, who could only complete seven laps in this morning's two-hour testing session after he was hit by two engine failures.
"I was using the t-car and the circuit was difficult during qualifying as it was very hot. I'm hoping for a better day tomorrow," added Fisichella after posting the 16th quickest time in first qualifying at the wheel of his Ford-powered Jordan.
Briton Ralph Firman, making his debut at the Hungaroring today, wound up 17th quickest in the second of the cars from the Silverstone-based squad.
"We had a good morning session but in qualifying I took it a little bit cautiously in the middle sector as the circuit has some quite blind and difficult corners," said Firman. "All in all the car's a bit more predictable than at other races but obviously we're not quick enough. I'm looking forward to tomorrow."
