Fisichella has a weekend to forget

Ralf Schumacher moved two points ahead after finishing on the podium for the second time this year.

After a disastrous Saturday Fisichella's woes continued Sunday when he crashed at 130mph at Stavelot in morning warm-up.

The car was tipped upside down but he emerged unscathed.

Unfortunately his race machine was wrecked and he was forced to resort to the spare which lasted just eight laps of the race.

"I was careful at the start not to push too hard when the track was wet.

"But once it started to dry I could step up the pace.

"Then I lost all power when I had some sort of electrical problems and lost power at the Bus Stop chicane.

"I must apologise for Verstappen because he ran into the back of me through not fault of his own and it wrecked his race.

"After getting only one run in qualifying and my big crash this morning this has really been a disastrous weekend for me."

Teammate Alex Wurz was close to anonymous as he qualified 19th and finished 13th.

What little chance he had disappeared when he pitted with Fisichella and the Italian had problems and it destroyed his race as well.

Fisichella now has 18 points in six place in the driver's title and Schumacher has 20 in fifth place.
