Briton Ralph Firman will make his debut for Jordan tomorrow when he tests the team's Formula One car for the first time at Valencia, Spain.
Firman was named as Silverstone-based Jordan's second driver last week and he will make his debut behind the wheel of the Ford-powered EJ13 just four weeks before the opening race of the season.
The 27-year-old is eager to test the car for the first time as he attempts to get Formula One experience ahead of the season-opener in Australia on March 9.
"I am really delighted to be driving for Jordan Ford and looking forward to testing the car for the first time in Valencia on Monday," Firman said. "It's all happened very quickly and I cannot wait for Melbourne. But I am just looking forward to my first run in the car at the moment."
Firman has tested a Formula One car twice - once with McLaren in 1996 and late last year with BAR - but will make his Jordan debut in Valencia when he tests along with teammate Giancarlo Fisichella.
