Ferrari set for Paris parade

Parisians have become accustomed to hundreds of bikes thundering down the Champs Elysees on the final day of the Tour de France. But on Sunday the historic cobbled stretch will provide the backdrop to a blur of red with a Ferrari parade in tribute to the 2004 F1 world champions

Travelling down from the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde will be the championship-winning F2004, an Enzo, a 575 Maranello, a 612 Scaglietti and an F430.

The event will also mark the sealing of an agreement between the French Ministry of Solidarity, Health and Family and the ICM (Institut du Cerveau et la Moelle epiniere), which has Ferrari's manager Jean Todt and driver Michael Schumacher among its patrons.

Schumacher will be at the wheel of the F2004 while Todt will pilot the Enzo. Former Ferrari drivers Rene Arnoux and Patrick Tambay will be behind the wheel of the 575 Maranello and 612 Scaglietti respectively while Felipe Massa, the team's test driver in 2003, will take the controls of the new eight-cylinder car, the F430.
